Omicron32: 7 Speed / 7 Traction / 4 Torque / 3 Weapon / 9 Armor
Xtreme pneumatiX: Speed: 7 Traction: 6 Torque: 2 Weapon: 3 Armour: 12
Going to be using the long forks for this one.
Go for him right out of the gate, it’s gonna be a close one so I wanna try and impress the judges as much as I can with control and aggression. I have long, narrow forks that should be able to slot inbetween those teeth on his lifter, helping me get under it whilst my long forks keep some distance between the main body of my robot and his lifter. My main goal is to juggle my flips here, hopefully corralling him into the corners of the arena, using his big, awkward shape against him by cornering him and forcing him to take a beating from the pulverisers, he has lower than I do, meaning that he should take more damage from the various arena hazards as long as I can keep him on them. Electric lifters aren’t as snappy and instantaneous as a pneumatic flipper, meaning that if he gets under my forks and lifts instantly, I may have a chance to reverse off and come back underneath him before he has a chance to lower his lifter. I’m going to be facing his robot at all times, letting my superior forks do the work and not allowing him to try and angle in on me. I have a lot of ground clearance and should be able to escape that lot lifter of his by reversing, meanwhile his wide shape is perfect for me to wedge inbetween and just toss him around, keeping the judges impressed with plenty of control and aggression. If I do get flipped, I’ll self-right right away and go back on the attack, thanks to my horns I should remain invertable as well.
Best of luck Frog!

Re: Ruination HW: Omicron32 vs Xtreme pneumatiX
Oh hi again Ethan!
Omicron32's using its lifter config.
It's the same speed as XP but it has better control and much better pushing power. It's also a very wide robot, up against an opponent with a front that's definitely narrow enough to fit into its dustpan. I don't think Ethan told me what config he's using, but either way our wedges should be about as effective if I'm pressing my lifter into the floor, which I will.
The win here for me is to get XP onto my dustpan and then push it under the hammers and/or killsaws. To do that, all I need to do is win the wedge battle and then start pushing with all four wheels. I'm sure I can drive well enough to do that at least a few times.
If O32 gets flipped, it's extremely easy for it to recover, as it's the same either way up, so it'll be very hard for XP to chain flip it.
Good luck on this and our other match, Ethan.
