I thought it was pretty clear from discussions in the discord server and had been for like...weeks that I wasn't going to impose it this time. I'm definitely not averse to making rule changes, as you know, but I try to stay away from those that would render a significant number of designs null and void close to a deadline. If anything, BS like this makes me wanna say "fuck it" and impose the 22 rule right now.

By what people are saying, I'll assume that all outstanding issues have been rectified and all robots are in compliance with the rules (including the drivetrain rule). I'll be doing a final check on Sunday, and anything not in compliance will be modified so that it complies. Anything that cannot be modified (such as running afoul of the drivetrain rule) will be disqualified from the tournament.

Sorry to sound like a hardass, but I want everybody's robots to perform exactly how they're expected to perform, within reason, and for opponents to not have to interpret overly ambiguous designs.

With that said, my final team will be unveiled shortly.

Ready to melt faces. Alternate configs are listed in the signups and linked in the albums. I'm not going to post eight self-indulgent pictures of each bot for people to have to scroll past, though that'd be fun. I'll trust that they're gonna be adults and click the titles to see the albums.
