This is some clarification from Discord on the Awesomeness and Pony stats.

So, the awesomness stat determines a robot's luck
at least from what I understand
and you don't actually have to stat it
it's directly proportional to the number of corners on your robot
the more corners, the higher the awesomeness
it basically guarantees that your robot will get the benefit of the doubt in close decisions, will land on its wheels when flipped more often than not, will not suffer OHKOs, and its opponent will generally suffer from being a complete fucking moron.
The Pony stat influences how much Pat will like it. Since he's one of the writers, if the pony stat on your robot is higher than it's opponent's Pony stat and Pat is writing the fight, your robot will automatically win.
