CBC Start List

[The Monsterworks]

The following is a rough list that I've compiled with all of the bots so far entered in the upcoming Cherry Bomb Classic. If you find that one of your entries is marked with 'issues' in the final column, this means that the submission is complete, but it has unresolved issues that need to be addressed before it can be accepted as an entry. Please contact me immediately if this is the case and I will inform you of what needs to be altered or addressed. These usually aren't major issues, and I may just require some clarification. In any event, you'll be given some extra time to rectify them. Once they are rectified, your bot will be marked 'cleared'. If one of your bots is marked with 'awaiting...' in the final column, this means that your submission is not yet complete. It is missing either stats, a name, a picture, or some combination of those. You will not be able to enter CBC without a full team. If you require some extra time, again, please contact me.

As you can see, some of these weight classes are shaping up to be quite interesting. For reference, a 'brick' is any bot with a frontal armour value of 11+ that is not a spinner or an axe or is generally intended to control without doing damage, while the term 'deathspinner' refers to bots with a spinning weapon value of 16+. An uber-brick is any machine possessing a frontal armour value of 14+ or overall armour value of 13+, and a 'deathcrusher' is a crushing weapon with a value exceeding 16. Finally, a launcher is a flipper with 7 or more power, while 'novel' refers to a weapon or weapons-related system that does not neatly fall into an established category.

Updating the Tables

This will be done following the submission deadline, the extended deadline, and whenever I see things that need updating. The tables will be reviewed a week before the start of the tournament. If you change your entries before the submission deadline or if you've been given an extension, please post here to inform me of updates.
