FRR Backlash Conferences & Divisions

Find the screwy Conferences, Divisions, and up to the minute rankings in here!

As a general overview, you'll fight each bot in your own Conference and you'll have 1 Inter-Conference fight during the season as well. Each respective division winner is locked into the playoffs (obviously) and the top overall seed (determined by head to head tiebreaker against the opposing division winner if applicable) is granted a first round bye in the playoffs. Additionally, each conference will have 3 wildcard spots that every bot in a conference has equal opportunity toward (any given division could have all 3 wildcards or none). From there the #2 seed would fight the #5 seed and the #3 would fight #4 (again tiebreakers will be applied as the situation dictates)

(updated for week 11 with an attempt at marking who will be moving on (they're in green!). others should definitely check my work though :v: )

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

The following robots are eliminated from playoff contention:

Rainbow Crash
Cheatbot
Powerdrive Jr.
Pelican

Thunder
Om Nom Nomster
D.U.D.E.
Metal 2
Furious Redemption
Caesium
Royale

Annihilation
Bass Drop
Loadout
Morbid
Rainbow Dasher
Smilodon
Landkreuzer P1000
Undertow
Hypothermia
Halberd
Dr. Feelgood

Hysteria
Dat Dog 2
Fourth Horseman
Terminal Velocity
D'Artagnan

The following robots have clinched a berth in the playoffs:
Venice Queen
BlackRose
O'Malley
The Smiler
Mineswept Away
Pyrite

Defiance
Pterodactyl
(there's only two robots here because the other three divisions in that weight class are clusterfucks :v: )

Compound Fracture
The Arbiter
Golden Blaze
Infrared
Pursuit
Cloak & Dagger
Tellu
Sparkster
Escape Plan
(Chimera is also basically clinched since Lian dropped out, but since Klarinette still has a mathematical chance at playoff contention he has not :v: )

Montgomery Yellow Jesus
Midnight Pathos
(Vendetta Division is a clusterfuck and there are no robots that have clinched there :v: )
Final Boss
Khnum
Archetype
Mega Plowdozer
(the final space in Aftermath comes down to basically Sundown Ranger and Bloodlust. Since SR's last two matches are both forfeits, if Bloodlust loses out it loses the tiebreaker and Sundown Ranger gets the final playoff spot. Minion has the same record but loses the tiebreaker to Sundown Ranger as well, but he technically is still mathematically eligible since the final two forfeits have not been written.)

This week we say goodbye to the following:

Tormentor
Tidal Wave
Public Enemies
Remi
Klarinette
Airtime Extreme
Uppercut v2
Chemical Explosion
Allahu Akbar
In the Red Square, Minion!
(I also forgot to mention Driger Slash last week but that should be a given :v: )

These robots have punched their ticket to the playoffs after this week:
Frequency
Rosebud
Lethal Carriageway
Chimera
Captain N.R.K.
The Pegasus Device
Danger Noodle

The final two slots in LW come down to Veto or Icepick Lobotomy and Game Over or Skate. Icepick Lobotomy and Game Over have the tiebreaker wins currently.

Here's how the tiebreakers in Annihilation look:
Whipcoil- wins over Clown Breath, March or Die and Depth Charge
Clown Breath- wins over March or Die and Lyra (match against T&T has yet to happen)
March or Die- wins over Depth Charge, T&T and Lyra
T&T- wins over Whipcoil and Depth Charge (match against Clown Breath has yet to happen)
Depth Charge- wins over Clown Breath and Lyra
Lyra- wins over Whipcoil and T&T

i'm not sure how this helps but that division is a clusterfuck so this should be handy for future reference.

Fuck all of you in the AMP Conference. :v:

Cloak & Dagger clinched the #1 spot in its conference a while ago, but I'm mentioning it now. :V

The final slot in SHW comes down to Bloodlust and Sundown Ranger. Minion losing to Final Boss this week eliminates it from playoff contention.

The rest of the conference is an aggressive clusterfuck still though

Yep, Whipcoil/March or Die/Transgression & Tilt-A-Whirl have a cyclical tiebreaker.

You give your robot a stupid complicated name, of course I'm not going to spell it properly. :v:

Actually, it's not quite as bad as all that. Whipcoil beat March or Die, so Whipcoil wins the Barrier Division based on that tie breaker. So from there, to determine the #1 Conference Seed, T & T beat Whipcoil, so T & T claims the tiebreaker for the #1 Seed.
