Team Riptide: Advanced Robot Combat: Reserving all 3 classes
Lightweight: ???
Middleweight: ???
Heavyweight: Xtreme PneumatiX
Image
Speed: 7 Traction: 6 Torque: 2 Weapon: 3 Armour: 12
Back for seconds after a joint-third finish in the previous one! Two-wheel driven LP-Pneumatic flipping arm (only the black and white bit is the arm). Since 2wd hinged Wedges have total superiority over everything in this and being a flipper means it’s arm is basically hinged so lol. The drive isn’t too torquey so it shouldn’t wheelie and it doesn’t have much room to wheelie anyway with the guard on the back. Is invertible thanks to the stopper ‘horns’ on top and also has stopper eyes like it’s little brother. The flag is purely for decoration and it will come off easily. The Flipping-Arm has around about Forty-degrees of travel.

I would like to enter as a reserve and also, like, actually submit some robots? Which it seems like people forgot to do. Anyway:-

LW: Trilobite! 2!
Speed: 9 | Traction: 8 | Torque: 3 | Weapon: 0 | Armour: 10 (+2 front plate, inc. spikes and forks) | 2WD | Static Forks

Config options:-
Forks and anti-trucking spikes removable
Walkout Music:-

It's the fastest fossil alive! Trilobite! 2!'s sacrificed some of its control for a heavier front armour plate and the ability to drive upside down, something that was found to be sorely lacking in the machine's debut outing. Now it's time for an encore. Trilo's a kind of halfway house between the pure speed wedges and the slower bricks, and it's had some success in CBC4 with that style. Now, though, it's time to take things to the next level. Here's hoping that it can.

---

MW: Verdigris
Speed: 9 | Traction: 8 | Torque: 2 | Weapon: 2 (1/1/1/1 four flippers, per the 1/3rd rule) | Armour: 9 | 4WD Mecanum | Limited Hinged Forks

Config options:-
Extended forks
Big-ass plough: Speed 9 / Traction 8 / Torque 2 / Weapon 0 / Armour 11 (+2 plough)
Walkout Music:-

Apparently, Team Worst Swordsman owns more than one middleweight. Who knew? Now that Dragonfist is having a well-earned vacation being fanned by palm frond-wielding oiled hunks of a clothing-optional variety, new bot Verdigris has stepped into the fray to preserve the honour of the team and maybe snag some glory of its own. With lightning speed, a low-powered weapon, and mecanum drive for additional s i d e w a y s, it's about as far from Dragonfist as it's possible to get in terms of design, but with plenty of speed to take out big threats and the ability to keep on flipping even if multiple weapons get trashed, Verdigris might see more immediate success than the team's marquee name. Oh, and just so we're clear: this is what people mean when they talk about four bar flippers, right?

Right?

---

HW: Tabor Mark 5
Speed: 6 | Traction: 5 | Torque: 2 | Weapon: 7 (5 turret / 5 flipper) | Armour: 10 (+2 flipper) | 4WD Swerve Drive | Hinged Wedge

Config options:-
Er... how long have you got?
Please note that these are renders of the wedges from the previous iteration of Tabor; I reserve the right to replace this link with other options once I've rendered a new fuckton of wedge options.
Walkout Music:-

Oh yes. She's back.

This iteration of Tabor is massively different to previous versions, and not just because it's been rendered and looks shiny and has interesting details and so forth. The lifter has been swapped out for an electric flipper powered by motors built into the turret, and the redoubtable four-wheel-drive of old has been replaced with intricately machined swerve drive pods that deliver a hell of a lot more control on the field, though they obviously don't have quite the same amount of raw shoving power that conventional 4WD can muster. What's still the same? The wedge for every occasion, the turreted-controlbot ethos, the fucknormous amount of armour on the flipper, and the eternal hope that this time, this year, it's her year.

Maybe.
TEAM WORST SWORDSMAN
"The world's best swordsman doesn't fear the second-best; he fears the worst swordsman, because he can't predict what the idiot will do."
