Match 1: Avanti! and Chimera IV vs Clustername and Molten

Four of the five bots of this match are off to a quick start, with both Blue team bots making a charge towards Clustername and the latter splitting their bots. The brick of the cluster heads out to meet Avanti while Overmind heads closer to the middle of the arena to seemingly protect Molten as it considerably slower-ly makes its way to the center of the arena.
It doesn't take too long for Vindicator and Avanti to make contact, with the full-sized bot managing to take the initial advantage. YSMQ notices both opponents charging for the brick of their cluster, so Overmind quickly changes course to try to intercept Chimera. Chimera is happy to oblige however, as a similar situation appears. Despite Overmind's strafing and attempting to angle, Chimera gets the advantage in the initial contact and sends Overmind up with its lifter flipper.
By this point Molten is now fully up to speed and approaching the middle of the arena where Chimera and Overmind met. Chimera just manages to get its flipper back down and pointed at Molten before impact. The shape of the wedge is good for absorbing a lot of damage, but the impact still rattles Chimera and bends the flipping arm a bit. Their flipping potential seems iffy after this hit. Molten is thrown back into the spike wall but otherwise mostly unphased by the impact.
Meanwhile, Avanti has successfully pushed Vindicator into the pulverizer corner. It was a slow push as Vindicator is surprisingly torque-y for such a small bot, but after backing off the wedge and wedge-locking a few times with Avanti, it slowly got pushed to the corner. The hammer comes down once, twice, thrice on Vindicator, completely ruining the neat paint job and causing some noticable dents in the top of the cluster's wedgebot.
After recovering from the flip, Overmind finally comes to the rescue of its cluster partner, giving Avanti a pop from the side to release Vindicator from under the pulverizer. Chimera tags in with Avanti as the latter retreats and Chimera charges in to the cluster bot. Chimera quickly wedges under Overmind again and sends them up, but they bounce off the lexan and back into the arena. Chimera attempts to retract its flipper after that hit, but it doesn't settle properly back into the bot after that bending. That is very bad news.
While the cluster starts to go to down on the unfortunate Chimera, Avanti sneaks around and before Vindicator can interfere, Avanti makes a charge for Molten who is well back to max speed and in the middle of the arena. Two simultanious hits happen here, with Overmind's weapon hitting Chimera's not-fully-retracted wedge and Avanti getting a face full of Molten's shell. The former sends Chimera up and just onto its back, while the latter pops Molten up and throws Avanti spinning backwards.
The last minute or so of this match showcases one bot from each team bullying the other opponent bot. Clustername gangs up on Chimera and tosses them around a bunch and Avanti tanks the hits from Molten like a champ while giving them a tour of the corner and wall hazards.

Match 2: Precision Engine and Fork the Wind vs Coulrogenesis and M A S H E E N

An ominous hum can be heard from both red team bots as the match starts and their weapons come to life. Coulrogenesis smartly starts with their weapon on the opposite side of their ally, and immediately heads beside the killsaw, waiting for a predictible box rush from PE. Masheen also moves out towards the center of the arema closer to its red team ally.
On the other side of the arena, the blue team bots both start at max speed charging for their opponents. FTW has its sights on Masheen while PE targets the HFL machine. Pat's bot Leeroy Jenkinses right into Masheen, and while the impact does throw Masheen back into the wall between the screws on the blue side, it also completely disconnects FTW's weapon assembly from the rest of the bot. Masheen does do a little wiggle to get back on the ground while FTW tries to recover and move away from the blue side killsaws.
The first contact between PE and CG (I'm just gonna call Coulrogenesis CG now) is more interesting. PE wants to get to CG's side, but CG is able to strafe and keep their weapon mostly facing PE using the weapon's torque. There isn't much room to maneouver around in the top right corner of the arena, so PE wisely backs off to try and approach from a different angle. PE is speedy and well controled, but CG is keeping tight control.
FTW finally recovers, but with no weapon its a kamikaze mission as it rushes Masheen again. The impact of lego steel on spinning steel is loud, and FTW is thrown way up before crashing down near the center of the arena. The impact causes HFL and Superbomb to both flinch as PE charges in and CG rotates its weapon just a little too far. PE finally gets a clamp on CG and lifts them up.
In a moment, buth red team bots spin down their weapons to avoid hitting eachother. PE brings CG to the pulverizers, but it has to release its opponent or risk taking hits itself. However, while they brought their first opponent to the pulverizer, their second opponent positions themselves behind and once again the loud sound of metal on spinning metal puts an end to this match.

Red Team (Coulrogenesis and M A S H E E N) win by K.O. in 1:29

Match 3: Omicron32 and Vivace vs Taskmaster V5 and Blue Max II

Match 4: Moby Klick and Tiamat vs Caffeine Machine and This Side Down

Moby Klick and Tiamat vs Caffeine Machine and This Side Down

The match starts with a speedy box rush from both red team bots. Caffeine Machine heads straight for Moby Klick while TSD heads in the direction of Tiamat. Both Blue team members spin up their respective weapons, with Moby Klick making an urgent effort to move away from the OOTA zone and Tiamat headed out around the killsaws to protect its partner. Tiamat does successfully block CM from getting a successful box rush off as their wedgelets sneak under Caffeine machine's front wedges. However, Tiamat seems to be having weapon issues, as the spinner slowly plonks off CM's wedges without much speed.
TSD Takes this opportunity to wedge under the side of Tiamat and pop them over. This also lifts CM up a bit, but they land flat and ready for more as it resets its sights on Moby Klick. The Shell spinner has managed to make it around the cluster of wedgey bots to make it mostly to the center, but with its teammate barely moving on its one wheel on the ground, it doesn't take long for both red team bots to swarm them and stuff MK into the wall spikes, followed by the pulverizer, and most of the rest of the wall hazards.
The one saving graves for MK this match is their opponent's flipper isn't powerful enough to OOTA them or even reliably turn them over (as TSD's forks keep getting knocked by MK's spinning shell), but by the end of the match MK is looking a bit beat up from the hazards around the arena. Both red team bots show wear as well from the constant shell-scraping from MK.

Aggression: 4-1 Red Team
Damage: 3-2 Red Team
Control: 5-0 Red Team

Match 5: Trilobite 2 and Thundercaller vs Vortex and Ayame

As opposed so some other matches, only half of each team darts out of the gates at the start of this match. Thundercaller makes an agressive play across the arena towards Vortex while Ayame heads centerfield to protect Vortex's cautious start of spinning up its drum. Trilobite also heads out, but despite it being the fastest bot in this match it is rather cautious, pointing its rear wedge at its opponents.
The first hit of the match is between Thundercaller and Ayame, where the former just manages to get the wedge advantage under Ayame's front. Thundercaller fires the flipper before Ayame has a chance to reverse off, which sends Ayame up and back to the wall between the two sets of screws.
While Ayame self rights, Thundercaller aims its sights on a now fully spun up Vortex. Unlike some of Madman's other bots, theres no strafe-y bullshit here, as they make a charge for Vortex. In the meantime, Trilobite has turned around and is now looking to make it a 2-on-1 fight. This match is Vortex using its mechanum wheels to strafe in an attempt to angle the wedgelets under Thundercaller's flipper. One of Vortex's wedgelets does manage to get under Thundercaller's flipper as the latter approaches, but some slight gyro lifts Vortex's other side causing the rest of the wedgelets to ride up onto Thundercaller's plow.
Vortex's drum grinds against the golden paint of Thundercaller's plow as the former is slowly pushed towards the pulverizer corner. Both Trilobite and Ayame are now approaching however. Thundercaller settles for a slightly weaker flip and backs off to let Trilobite tag in. However Thundercaller's rear wedge isn't enough to stop Ayame from wedging under as they back off and Ayame gets a seemingly similar low-power flip off on Thundercaller. Sending them twisting a bit but ultimately landing right way up.
While the two flippers reorient themselves, Trilobyte has taken over the bullying of Vortex. While it does force Vortex under the pulverizer, its front plate wedge is receiving hits from Vortex's drum as the latter desperately tries to escape. The pulverizer comes down multiple times on Vortex's top armour, rattling the bot. The arena hazard gets three shots off before Ayame manages to slip past Thundercaller and finally get Trilobyte out of the way with a quick flip.
Vortex does manage to make it out of the corner after its teammate saves the day, but its moving noticably slower. Its possible the hammers damaged some internals. There is no time to rest however, as Thundercaller is back shoving its wedge in Vortex's face. While Thundercaller doesn't get a chance this match to OOTA Vortex (due to risk of being intercepted by Ayame), they do spend the last bit of the match in control while Trilobite does its best to keep Ayame busy and catch them out when they try to move to save their teammate. The match ends with Vortex once again under the pulverizers taking some nasty hits.

Aggression: 4-1 Blue Team
Damage: 3-2 Blue Team
Control: 4-1 Blue Team

Blue team (Trilobite 2 and Thundercaller) Win by a 11-4 Judge's Decision
