Due to life problems in the past few weeks I'm having recently It made me forget this event, gutted that I missed it but I guess I could do with a rest. I'm feeling a lot better right now and should be back on track.

I get the one match that I legitimately dreaded in the first round. Also, for cripes sake, it's Brimstone, not 'brimestone'!

Alright, Spatula's post has now been removed, since he did not get the robot up in time. this makes the bracket less confusing!

Alright, Gabe asked for proof that my single-toothed blade is shorter than the longest access of my bot. I had two alternate blades that were shorter, but then I realized that I was measuring Brimstone the wrong way. So, here's the proof:

Bot's longest axis:

Eesh... I'd argue that this is at the very least an intent violation: the circle swept out by the blade is very obviously larger than the long axis of the robot, and I'd say an overhead weapon that can reach all the way around should get the +2 weapon armor, not the +4.

Indeed it is. Almost all single-toothed weapons are. One of the reasons that I made this bot was to bring the issue up and force a rule change, which Gabe is aware of and which will likely be written into the future ruleset. For the time being, however, it's legal and with its stats, it really doesn't work (it would self-destruct) unless it's +4. Funny story, some people on the discord chat might remember that I didn't actually intend to compete with it (I had plans to enter a double-toothed version in CBC). I was going to swap it out on the last day, but I miscalculated and thought that the last day was a day later than it actually was. Ah well, at least it'll be fun to RP.

Glunk, please get rid of this abomination so no one else (by which I mostly mean "me if I beat Thresher Shark") has to fight it?

Also, Monsterworks, you should really be proud of yourself for creating something I want to fight less than friggin Glunk!

It is an evil little POS, ain't it? Ironic that I'm facing the only bot that I legitimately feared the fuck out of.

What is it with guys named Alex and writing stupidly-long RPs on here, anyway. :P
