To boldly go where no man has gone before...

Whoop. :v:

So, I got disappointed with being unable to attend Bot Blast... only to find out I'm actually going to Bot Brawl instead, which is in Kitchener.

Not only that, but as of my Facebook posting of the event... the organizer himself voluntarily contacted me and requested that I take pictures behind the scenes/in the pits, and help with the event.

Needless to say, I'm kinda stoked about this. I still have to build a bot sometime in the future, but this could be the beginning of wonderful things. :v: Wish me luck.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

I'm too lazy to reupload all my photos on here as well as Facebook, so here you go. :v: If you can't see any of the photos, I can send some via Skype I guess.

I hope you enjoyed it, I had to leave early. :( Though I think Ravi is starting to post up some of the battle videos.

If you pause the video of Siege Tank vs Grand River Express at 1:44, you can see me recording the match on my tablet with my umbrella.
Unfortunately all the pics/vids i took got deleted :(

Better shot at 2:16

Edit: Ok, so I did have one picture of the Bot Brawl..

Oh yeah, that was a big reason we left early. That rain just defeated us, though it's too bad it cleared back up later. Could have seen more. :/

I guess that's the one downside to an outdoors event. The weather rules all.

The one time I did an outdoor event (last year's MIT Maker Faire) it rained. The inside of the arena was damp all day. Made it fun to drive in.
