Underall, JSG, and Tracktar Ultra are probably all top 20. Either Uh Oh It's a Red Hot Fridge is in the top 40 or not on there at all. I wonder if Big Kahuna is in there as well. We shall see.

Top 20? Dunno about Trackstar Ultra, but I'll be surprised if Underall and JSG aren't in the top 10.

Well, I guess I'll take a moment to recap how I've done on the list so far.

I've got Intergalactic, Cryptic Terror, Neptune, Mercenary, Slasher and Wrath of Draco all made the list so far...

It's going to be interesting seeing who every team's highest ranking bot is.

To be honest, I didn't exactly think that Cryptic Terror deserved to get that high list. Sure it did really well in FRR 2, but the competition during that time wasn't great to say the least. The design also had a lot of flaws with in it. I mean, it wasn't extremely bad, but I just think that 57 is pretty high for a robot like that to be ranked while stuff like SWAT, Pandemic, and Stratos-Fear are a bit higher.

Well, not for me. I'm pretty sure I know which one will be mine.

Cause I'm guessing it didn't include you right? But anyway, I don't think its fair to call the compitition from back then subpar. Sure it you could argue it seems like that looking back on it now, but for that time it was good.

When you say the design had plenty of flaws... would you care to point out a few for those of us who might not know? I for one am up for a little history lesson on the matter.

If this is going to turn into an episode of Jerry Springer, can I be the random stripper who runs onstage?

Hell no.

As for Siphai, CADs have been rapidly getting better from season to season. Cryptic Terror, being a relatively old bot, doesn't look as nice in comparison but he still did well and ripped apart some major bots back in early FRR days. Besides, he had one season. I make a good point of not taking off points for a bot just because their experience was limited. Some of the best bots have competed season after season, but some of the best ones competed in just one or two.

In all honesty, I welcome comments like this because what's a list without criticism? It's fine by me.

This is obviously not true. I entered Flank Attack as my sole robot into the MW class of FRR2, this isn't an arrogance thing at all. And on the matter of the level of competition, there were a few good bots, but the overall level wasn't that good. I think there was like Undershrike, Minion's FBS, Unlimited Limits, and then that was it out of about 12-14 bots. It honestly was not a great season for designs.

As for flaws, I remember someone saying something about the spinning disc of Cryptic Terror during the tournament, and I saw some truth in that, although it has been a long time since I've seen the CAD so maybe my memory isn't that reliable on the matter.

Overrall, I think I overstated myself a bit. It didn't have a lot of flaws, but it wasn't the best design and to be honest, it really doesn't deserve a space like #57. I think somewhere in the 80's probably, at least ranked lower than Pandemic and Stratos-Fear.

In the 80's huh? Hmm... I don't think so. I looked at the bots in that area (and slightly above it) and it just doesn't fit. Also, the list really isn't about who won the most. You need to look at it from several factors. 57 is far from calling it a perfect design, but CT was very solid, and its performance reflected that. I won't take anything away from Pandemic and Stratos-Fear, but I think they are fine pretty much where they are.

I added 40-21 just now...

Check it out, dudes. Next week is going to be the final countdown and I want to do something special for it.

One thing I'm going to do is open a chat for everyone to join and slowly post the final countdown live with revealing a new bot on the countdown every 5 minutes. So theoretically, the chat should last 1 hr 20 min. The chat will be 8 EST unless I specify later otherwise.

Another thing is a might make a video, but that's questionable because I'd only do it if I got voice clips from others commenting on the bots.

As for the actually discussion, who's gonna be the top dog? Who's in the top 20? Whooo, the suspense!

I'd provide some voice clips.

Wow, totally didn't expect Shredding Ring to be there, but he is... sweet. Again the list gets better and better.

I'd be up for active involvement in the top 20.

PS. John, would you mind toning down the width of your sig a little?
