We all thought "Hey, this is a good idea" and then nobody did anything about it.

Although it's getting on for 10 years since the original Top 100 CFL Bots list was made, so it could probably use some tweaking.

I keep needling Chris to try and help out with this, but since he comes here so seldom he's pretty out of touch with a lot of the latest and greatest bots.

I think we just need to settle on a voting committee and hammer this shit out at some point.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

It might be worth holding off FRR for a couple weeks in between so that we can actually focus on this. I think tournaments starting up so quickly plays a part in this not getting done. There never seems to be a definitive "cutoff" point.

After Ruination sounds good to me. I figured we could just come up with lists of who we thought would be worthy, and compare them as a starting point.

I think that's kind of what we started doing a couple years ago when we first talked about redoing this list. I even remember going over some of the lists with Chris at one point.

well that happened... not.

I want to do something with this after Backlash ends. Maybe we could set up a discord chat for it.

I know there are a couple people in VA, and Maryland. We're all close enough to visit, and do our own little regional southeast ARCcon. That's my vote anyway.

Soooo....ARC-Con 2017. We have enough people in the same general 7 hour drive/short flight to have one. I'm all for doing this.
