So, all of one post later, aaaaand..... it's

<span style="display:block;text-align:center"><span style="font-family:copperplate gothic bold"><big><big><big><big><big><span style="color:firebrick">Black Dog II</span></big></big></big></big></big></span>

Image

The Dog's back. Same stats and same winning attitude, just a slightly improved and meaner looking design. The last one was actually a bit of a rush job.

Image

The new version is actually a bit more compact than the old, but boasts better wheel protection, more ground clearance, and a drum with slightly more range.

Image

The front portions of the skids/feeder wedges are removable if need be, as are the upper stoppers. There are also other colour options soon to be posted.

Image

<big><big>6 speed / 4 traction / 1 torque / 14 weapon / 5 armour (+1 drum)</big></big>

"Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble. Fillet of a fenny snake, In the cauldron boil and bake; Eye of newt and toe of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog, Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg and owlet's wing, For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."

<big><big><big><big><big><big>Eye of Newt</big></big></big></big></big></big>

Image

I thought that my team needed a bit of fun and whimsy, so here's a full-body drum in the mold of Barber-ous.

Image

Not too much to say, since it's exactly what it appears to be.

Image

Realistically, this one's going in Featherweight, and you'll see it in ROBOTS and maybe in the Featherweight exhibition matches in REDDIT.

No fancy bullshit like songs n' stuff. This is Vicious.

<span style="display:block;text-align:center"><span style="color:blueviolet"><big><big><big><big><big><big><span style="font-family:impact">Vicious</span></big></big></big></big></big></big></span>

Image

Vicious is back to hit you like a freight train, only this time, I've gone a bit Nuts. Ya, it's a flail spinning melty-brain with a party trick that Imma reveal later so y'all can't change your bots/stats to counter it way ahead of time.

Image

The full length of the flails is best described as "long AF", and hopefully they'll cause a lot of sneaky or ricochet damage like Nuts did in RW S10. Also, ABR wedges because.

Image

I tried to pay more attention to detail than your average TinkerCAD user because A E S T H E T I C S. The chains on the chassis are ornamental, and can be detached at one end to act as entanglement devices when permitted, or simply removed and replaces with ballast.

Image

I like hexagons. (Alternate configs with shorter chains coming soon and with fixed blades)

Image

13 speed / 6 traction / 1 torque / 2 weapon (1 melty movement / 1 throttle control to bring speed down to 8 / 1 throttle control for acceleration boost) / 8 armour (+2 flails)

You sure have some time on your hands :v:

Glad we're on the same page with the melty/wedger design. Let me know when people take flails seriously though :-/

I'm definitely not going to take flails that hilariously long seriously :V

this seems like one of those bots that seems more practical on paper than in an actual fight. it'll take a while to get the flails going, but once they do, shit's gonna hurt.

Regardless of how good it is in battle it still looks kickass, good job.

Step One: Insert scary-sounding intro thing here.

Step Two: Insert boast about my 1337 360 xXxN05C0P3xXx rendering skillz here.

Step Three: Insert fucking awesome song here.

Step Four: Win at life.

I wanted to do something a bit different, so I went with a Complete Control - inspired design. It uses tracks for mobility to make good on the dismal failure that was my only previous tracked robot: Savage.

<hr />
Image

<hr />
The lifter is positioned a bit further back on the body to prevent overbalancing when picking something up. There are also a pair of removable skids under the black lifter pontoons for stability. Check the album linked in the title if you wanna take a look. Obviously, the bot can self-right.

<hr />
Image

<hr />
The flames come out of two nozzles and aren't just single-point things for pretty effects. They can actually do some damage with prolonged enough contact.

<hr />
Image

<hr />
The track system is a point of particular pride. I used a picture of the old Sherman tank outside of the army base where I used to train as a reference for them. They consist of 1083 individual components. Anyone is welcome to use them.

Broseph, please stop making <del>us</del> me look bad with your overly detailed renders.

Just kidding, please don't stop.

Alright. You're not bad at rendering. :P

Not too proud to admit that I'll be stealing those tracks at some point.

Some music, because this bot is totally fly, dude, and it's <big>ice</big> themed.

<big><big><big><big><big><big>Hoarfrost III</big></big></big></big></big></big>

<hr />

<hr />
So, it's a 2WD wedge that isn't just a short triangular slice of cheese. It has massive wheels and a heavy front plow mounted at an angle so that it always rests on its wheels and the tip of its wedge both ways up. Why the weird shape?? So it has more weight forward and doesn't wheely while staying actually invertible. That, and I just like the aesthetic. Wedges are boring. This one at least looks different.

<hr />
Image

<hr />
Shit like the 'exhaust pipes' and the little wedgelets on the front are removable.

<hr />
Image

<hr />
8 speed // 8 traction // 3 torque // 0 weapon // 11 armour (+1 wedge)

<hr />
Image

<hr />
Have some proof of its invertibility.

it's even more obnoxious and wedgy than before&#33;

seems fun to fight tho, looking forward to eventually lose against it :v:

I had the stupid AF idea to make a shell spinner. It ended up looking like an edgy Colson wheel. I hate shell spinners. Never again.

I needed a third 360 brick because you can never have too many of those. Also, this was the license plate on a really edgy car I saw once, so naturally I was drawn to that like a fly to shit and so then I shat out motherfukkin...

<big><big><big><big><big>Intimidator</big></big></big></big></big>

<hr />

Image

<hr />
It's a pure rammer designed mostly just to smack into things instead of really control them. All brute force and ignorance. Just the way I like it...

<hr />
Image

<hr />
Low, lean, and impractical AF. This is an artbot, but one that could be semi-viable.

Fight me for the name, Dylan.
