We have entirely too many Alex-variety people.

And so begins the purge... :v:

Introducing my new LW:

It should be pretty obvious to people what this is and what it does.

9 Speed / 9 Traction / 3 Torque / 9 Armour (+2 Armoured Belt) / 0 Weapon

Simple but effective design, with some decent stats as well. I think we might need clarification as to what the "Armoured Belt" is, but it looks like it could be a strong contender. Nice work, you're really coming along well here. =)

Oh yeah, the white part is the 'armoured belt'. Thanks for the encouragement!

This is my new middleweight. It's a reversible flipper that can act as either a front or rear-hinged. The weapon armour bonus only applies to the weapon up to the point where the interchangeable 'heads' attach. That point is the brown belt with the golden spikes (which are removable, btw). There will be an axehead and a longer, spatula-type flipper soon.

9 speed / 8 traction / 3 torque / 9 armour (+ 2 to the roan-coloured armoured belt) / 1 weapon

or

8 speed / 6 traction / 2 torque / 9 armour (+2 to the roan-coloured armoured belt) / 5 weapon

Pretty decent design, in a similar vein to Alex V's most recent Conqueror. One major problem, though, is that you've given the back of the flipper an Armour bonus, and have the wheels protruding past it on either side. =D Any spinner worth their salt is likely going to take the wheels out before you have a chance to flip them properly, so I'd definitely shield them inside the main body, which would also allow you to make the armoured section wider as well.

Oh, yeah, I see what you're saying. The thing is that this design is supposed to basically be dual-purpose. What I called the front is the front-hinged side. It's basically a 2WD wedge that can flip. The rear is actually that rear-hinged side. It's like, the front is the anti-spinner side and the back is the anti-brick side. The wheels are the way that they are so Thundercaller can't get high-sided.

I caved and made a spinner. It's retarded and I basically hate it, but whatever. It's probably going in FW so that I'll never have to use it. Drum is on a pivoting assembly, like Viluy's. It's a single weapon, like Howler's. It's a control spinner like Powerdrive.

6 speed / 4 traction / 1 torque / 13 weapon / 6 armour (+1 to the drum)

Time for a spinner that doesn't suck.

It's a melty-FBS in the mold of Wiwaxia or Ultraviolence.

7 speed / 5 traction / 1 torque / 10 weapon (7 spinner/7 melty drive) / 7 armour

Good overall except for two things, and oddly enough, they're the exact same problems as Endgame :v:
1 Wedge killer or not, if anything does so much as touch the teeth or get under the spinner, then congratulations, you just made yourself your first ROFLcopter :v. A little more ground clearance will help with that

2. Can. It self right? When it comes to the forms of UV and Wiwaxia compared to Vicious, one of these things is not like the others. A srimech stick or Glacier propeller hat will be needed. And yes, you can get sent on your back without getting flipped by your opponent

you uh... you don't want tons of ground clearance on a shell. just enough that it isn't touching the ground usually... look at megabyte: http://members.toast.net/joerger/pic2/megabyte1.jpg

If they get under me, I'd rather be kicked away then just end up on their wedges, tbh. Also, those teeth are so damned low that they're basically unavoidable. Also, self-righting's for bitches and I'm not putting a doofy hat on it, at least not in its main configuration. I might give in and make one available, though.

Some piece of shit I made a few months ago and never posted. It's like that douchebag in the trailerpark who thinks he's so metal because he listens to Lamb of God and maybe has some of the lyrics tattooed poorly on his arm. There's about a 40 chance he'll have a barbed wire tattoo around one of his biceps as well. That song is a fuckin' banger, tho.
