Yes, the standard arena and the Insanitarium. I've removed the OOTA zone from the Standard Arena when I decided to make these two.

I mean not that I want to stifle creativity or anything. I'll fully admit that I'm pretty much an old stick in the mud about the arena's and I wouldn't mind sticking just to the old tried and true ARC arena (hence FRR: No Mercy operating procedure :D ).

All things considered I think it's the most bot-neutral arena and all other arena's tend to favor one type of design too much. But if most people don't have any problems with it, then I'm not one to make noise just to be contrarian.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

Perhaps have the Spinner one a little higher, but it's a good idea.

As Josh said, the luck quotient is too high to determine a precise score for a spinner, so leave them out of it.

Otherwise, that's a very decent arena, well done.

But yeah, good idea.

prince palatine

Nov 18 2013, 11:19 AM

Since I made the announcement of a new Crazy Bots tournament, I've set my sights on creating 4 unique arenas for the competition. The arenas will now be the Standard Crazy Bots Arena, Casa De La Box, Das Oval and The Insanitarium.

In fact here's the Das Oval arena for a it's first (Not so) big revealing.

Image

This is the Das Oval Arena. Heavily inspired by the arena from the failed ARC: Backlash tournament. This arena is (Well Duh) an oval shaped arena, with the larger burganduy oval being there for possible flips out of the arena. (You'll need a bit a power behind your flipper or a very fucking big run up) It's a basic arena with two hazards, at the north side a spinning drum. In the center are two arena floor flippers (Das fires north, while Oval fires south) which can throw super-heavyweights with ease. Last but no means least, there is a large brown button located at the south side of the arena. The button doubles the weapon power of each hazard, with the drum dealing more damage and possible out of the arena flips with the floor flippers.

So there you have it, the Das Oval Arena? What do you think guys? :)[/quote]As long as there's no center nail I'm fine with it

Honestly I could take the rebirth of the center nail before seeing more OOTA arenas. :v:

Speaking as an official FOP (Friend of Pits), I think we all know a Pit would be better. :P

Unless you want to piss off the entire community with a pit discussion, I think you'll refrain from elaborating on the subject. :P

Also, I for one don't need to hear you fap about fop. :dawg:
