RIP Levi Stubbs

Get with the beats, the riffs, the harmony, or if you wanna go to hell, Phil Collins.

Josh, I know you're an incredible fan of the Four Tops, so I'll let you deliver the eulogy. Just wish to point out that in the early '90s, the Four Tops appeared in a few commercials to try and help bolster tourism in Michigan. The commercials focused on how "Michigan Is Tops!" Hence the great quartet.

We're left now with only Abdul "Duke" Fakir.

RIP Levi

Well, first I thank you Philip for posting the thread. It was truly a shock to discover that Levi had passed. I harken back to when I was a new fan of the Tops, which was right around when Obie passed and thinking that it must be really hard on the surviving members (now member, and hopefully still around for a good while).

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

I don't really listen to the Tops, nor am I as big fan of motown music in general, but I respect them greatly. It's sad to see him go.
