Okay, the rules are pretty simple. I'll start off by posting a song. The next person in line would rate and comment on that song and then post a song of thier own, and we continue as such.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

Very neat idea. I'll definitely go along with it.

As for your song, definitely not one of my favorite Temptations song. It's not really a bad song or anything, it just doesn't do it for me. I'll give it a 6/10, though.

Here's mine. The music video is stupid, but...

Sparkeyu, you are supposed to comment on the song above you and THEN post your own :D, good game idea NWOWWE

for the sake of this game Id like to comment on both Street Spirit and...
"Robot Arena 2 Sounds"

Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead - Is this my kind of music? I guess so, yes. I always like to say Im a fan of all kinds of rock, some more than others, and this kind of alternative rock ranks pretty well in my book. Whats immediately appearant when listening to Streer Spirit is the slowness in which it drags itself forwards, and the... complaining, almost annoying tone the singer uses to go with this, reminds me of Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd for this. The melody and the voice are a perfect match, it creates a cold and gray (maybe even dark?... I'll stick with gray) atmosphere, shivers.
I Wiki'd the song for the hell of it, not to base my opinion on what others say but rather to see if Wiki says anything that confirms what I was already thinking. Things like "sad song" and "soft melody" seemed spot on, and then the lead singer is quoted saying how doing this song wrecks him emotionaly. From an artist's point of view that may make sense, but for me its just a song that sets a mood, and does that in a good way. The lyrics are puzzling, seems to be 3 short stories that all end with some dark uncanny fade out... the sheer phrase "fade out" also goes fantastic with the voice and melody. Giving it a grade is bloody tough since itll always be a mix of cod objective analysis and personal preference thrown in, should be something like 8/10.

Robot Arena 2 Sounds - Musically, this isnt very good, of course, its an aweful song, but one with lots of novelty value, its a gimick.
It will be able to put a smile on the face of some RA2 players, and thats something. If you look at it purely as a piece of music... dont bother, but as a piece of fun, it works, it does.

Now its time for me to post you guys a song to swallow hole, sadly Im not quite sure how to post the actual video IN this post, if someone could tell me thatd be ace, but for now this link is what you'll get
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNdopoF-hTg
Worn Down Piano, by the Mark & Clark Band, Australian/American duo that for some reason only ever had one hit single, in only one country, The Netherlands. I happen to find this song fantastic, both in its lyrics and music, notice that that video clip is by no means official ;)

Listening to the song, it's easy to see why they never hit big... their music just isn't commercial, plain and simple, and if you're going to have hits, it has to be commercial to some degree. This is an interesting song, but they're trying to be experimental prog when prog died in the '70s. Their style is some kind of blend between indie and classically trained. As good as the musicianship is, this song just didn't hold my attention. 5/10.

Next up: Leonard Cohen's "Closing Time"

I can't say I'm a fan, but then again I've never been one for outright drinking songs. I mean, on a second listening it's grown on me a little bit. I don't think they used the fiddles all that well in the song, but again it's just my opinion. It's alright I suppose.

A song I'm actually quite familiar with, and don't even need to look up to know it. I love this song. Not a fan of trippy stuff, too much, but I love this one. 8/10.

And now for something a little rawer:

BTW, if anyone wants to embed the video, all you have to do is put "dohtml" and "/dohtml" in brackets instead of quotes and put them between the embed link from wherever you got it.

Alright, I think Johnny Burnette is very good and I like this one. Nice short song with a good feel to it. I believe there were quite a few covers of this one? But anyways, I'll give it 7/10.

Here's "Bug Eyes" by Dredg.

The Steel Pedal Guitar is one of my favorite instruments, I really can't find things that can quite match the sound of it and I really wish it was used in more songs. For that alone this song is great, but on top of that they used the sound well and made it a pretty great sounding song.

I've never been a fan of the goo goo dolls. They're definitely very 90's sounding, and really only belong in the 90's. The sound is a bit more upbeat than most of their stuff, but it's still kind of like a pussified version of grunge. I will say that the music video is kind of cool, though. 4/10

Not exactly my favorite type of music, but I think it was decent. The music video was extremely weird but amusing with all the zombie stuff, and it was actually kind of catchy. I'll give it 6/10.

That's a pretty catchy song that has a good amount of rock as well. For the whole thing until the last chorus I thought they were saying "what's that coming over the hill, is it a boxcar?" then I remembered the name of the song and got it. Catchy, and rad fake facial hair. 7/10

Very interesting.... I like the brooding pace and incantation-style delivery of the vocals. Not what I normally go for, but a good branching out experience for me.

Now back to Mother Africa... some juju from King Sunny Ade.
