Welcome everyone! I'm Mayfly and I am trying to do the tournament thing. This is the Assbot Super Show, or A.S.S for short. In this tournament, all the robots are shuntposts or made in like 30 minutes. Dirty Dozen ruleset is in affect, 250 pounds, straight bracket, and the only rule made by me is to please honor the spirit of this tournament and don't enter a 16 weapon 9+4 weapon armor into this, I will just ignore it. So go ahead everyone, do your worst!
Also I will be the only writer because
1.) This tournament isn't the longest
2.) I don't want to waste the other writers time

- It is a basic 4wd flipper, nothing special.
- It has a good amount of forks around it's perimeter
- Based off infantry formation known as Phalanx.
- I hope the arena floor is flat, or else this thing will struggle. (It'll struggle even if the arena is flat, the arena being flat means it could at least move)
- I don't know why I am using this format to display my comments on this monstrosity.
- Sadly I am unable to put a picture of a tiger on this robot
- Looks like I cut a slice of sea urchin
- I might change my stats, depending if I want to be ironic or faithful.

They said it couldn’t be done. They said it shouldn’t be done. They were right about the second part.

Here Comes The Sun is the mythical “vertical rammer” come to terrible, unnatural life. A combat robot without any wheels, tracks, or legs, its spherical surface is covered instead in metal spikes and pneumatic pistons. These pistons have two firing modes: the first is a low-powered, short-travel mode that can be used to roll the robot around by firing the pistons underneath and on the other side of the direction desired. The second is a high power mode that launches the entire robot into the air, so that it can come crashing down, spikes-first, on its bewildered opponent. (All the pistons retract while HCTS is airborne.)

You might say I'm a dream teamer, but I'm not the only one. Little darling, it seems like it's been years since I came up with this stupid concept. Here Comes The Sun, and I say, it’s all right (maybe.)

Actual explanation: It´s a hovercraft armed with 2 ICE-powered counter-rotating ring spinners. I was originally going to put a dorito on it but i decided to LS swap it and then supercharge it just because that looks cooler :V
Anyways, the V8 engine has fuel injection, the pump and the other stuff that i wont bother to mention so that it can work when inverted, giving it a chance to self right with the rear pole thing. Speaking of the engine, it powers both the propellers AND the spinners.
You may ask how does this thing turn. The answer is that the spinners are connected to the engine via the mechanism that tanks use to turn; so this thing slows down one of the rings so the other spin faster than it, and that makes the bot turn in place because newtons 3rd law, if that makes sense.
EDIT: forgot to mention, the propellers that make the thing hover are electric and the big ones on the back that move the robot, those are the ones also powered by the engine
