Event Analysis: Bowling
Bowling might be a bit of a dull sport normally, but the bowling balls are bionic, the skittles are gigantic, and the only spares are the body parts needed afterwards!
The Bowling lane looks something like this. Ten gigantic pins at the end of a soaped up bowling lane.
Robots take it in turns to drive their robot down the bowling lane, where the lubrication of the floor significantly hampers traction, acting as a -5. You get a short, unlubricated run-up though to build up speed, and you can attempt to direct your bot as it goes down the lane, to knock over as many pins as possible. Teams get two attempts to knock over as many pins as possible, with the most points being awarded to those who score the most across their runs. Ties will be determined by who scored more on their first attempt, and if they're still tied, both bots are awarded the higher of the point scores they're tied for.
I'm not expecting long or complex RPs for this, but do your best to give your strategies for this.

I'm sorry, but when we come to power, caravanning is going to be banned, and that's it. --Jeremy Clarkson
Robots are placed within four identical caravans, and tasked to destroy some key objects in the caravan as fast as possible, before escaping the caravan by any means, as quickly as possible.
The items in need of destroying are as follows:

Event Analysis: Collateral Damage
Woah --Crash Bandicoot, probably
Collateral Damage will take place with all four robots within the standard ARC arena. All four machines start in the centre of the arena, facing outwards, towards the four corners of the arena, instead of in the usual starting boxes. This is because the outside walls have been layered with lines upon lines of boxes, forming a border two boxes thick, one box tall, and fifteen boxes long. Each box is roughly 1 meter in each dimension, and are of one of three different kinds.
Each box has a different Armour and HP value. Armour matches to the standard combat scale to determine how much damage you deal to them. HP is a sink of how much damage is dealt to each, with the box breaking open if it reaches 0. Attacks will always deal a minimum damage of 1, so you can still bust open a golden crate by ramming it into the wall 5 times, even if you have incredibly low Speed and Torque.
In addition to the above, all arena hazards have been disabled. Competitors have 30 seconds to smash as many boxes as they can within the time limit, in order to score the most points. The bot that scores the most points wins 3 points, and so on downwards. Ties result in both bots being awarded the higher of the point scores they're tied for.

- Wooden crates. They release a small plume of red smoke when cracked open enough. They are the most numerous, filling in any space in the border not taken up by another box. Worth 1 point, 0 Armour, 1 HP.
- Metal crates. A bit tougher than the wooden crates, these footplate aluminium boxes shouldn't be much harder to bust open. They release a plume of teal smoke when cracked open enough. They border the area around golden crates. Worth 3 points, 4 Armour, 3 HP.
- Golden crates. Metal boxes, with a nice brass finish to them. They release a huge plume of yellow smoke when cracked open enough. They fill out only a small fraction of the border, only eight total in the arena, four in the outermost corners, and four in the outer edge of the centre of each border. Worth 10 points, 8 Armour, 5 HP.

Event Analysis: Wetropolis
The awesome beauty of Mother Nature. Unspoiled by the cruel intrusion of man... HAH!
Wetropolis takes place with robots taking turns performing runs in a specially designed arena, with an uneven, flooded terrain. Here's a rough diagram. For reference, the arena is approximately 40m in diameter. Regions between water depth are smoothed, so no need to climb up and down stairs.
Key:
As you may have noticed, the arena is flooded. Water damage will occur if your bot's chassis is submerged in water for at least a number of seconds equal to 1.5x its chassis Armour value. It deals 1 damage to internals, before the timer resets. Who knew water was like a shitty flamethrower?
The most points are awarded to those that clear the event in the fastest time. If your robot is immobilised, via water damage or otherwise, you will also receive 0 points.

Event Analysis: Rollercoaster
The rollercoaster, the crown jewel of any theme park. However, with our coaster, you gotta drive your bot on it, and you're 15 feet in the air. Be thankful there's no inversions. yet.
(Image scale does not match the scale of the event's Rollercoaster. Our one's track is only 1m wide.)
Robots take it in turns making time trial runs across the Rollercoaster, starting at the gate on the left of the image, working their way across the coaster to the right gate as quickly as possible.
Obstacles, in order of appearance on the track:
The most points are awarded to those that clear the event in the fastest time. If your robot is immobilised or drives entirely off of the track, you will receive 0 points.

Obstacles, in order of appearance on the track:
- Tilting ramp: A 15ft tall tilting ramp, carefully weighted so it drops when your bot nears the top end of the track. There's cushioning at the bottom, though, so any jostling will only be mild.
- Inverse banked turn: A turn that tilts at a 45 degree angle outwards. Fortunately, there's some small lumps to help you keep your grip... or bounce you off the track.
- Tilting ramp 2: Same as the first. You just get a bigger run-up this time, and less time to slow down before...
- Angled tilting ramp: A tilted ramp, though this one can have its base down in one of three directions. Get it facing the right way by placing your bot just right, so you can progress.
- Bridge: Small barriers wall the edges of this bridge, but if your driving's sloppy, you could easily go careening off the edge.
- Banked turn: A 45 degree banked turn, thankfully inward banked this time. Make sure to turn enough for it, though.
- Trick track: A set of three lumps on the edges of the track, aiming to tip over any bot that tries to gun it too hard along the final stretch.
The most points are awarded to those that clear the event in the fastest time. If your robot is immobilised or drives entirely off of the track, you will receive 0 points.

Event Analysis: King of the Hill
I'm gonna kick your ass! -- Hank Hill
King of the Hill takes place with all four robots in the arena at once. (Image has Dubior Jr, a Lightweight, and Heian Alien, a Heavyweight walkerbot, in place for size reference. The arnea does have walls, but they're absent for arena visibility.)
The arena consists of nine dirt and gravel hills, each with a flag at the top. Each one is colour coded to a robot, and only that team is allowed to scale the hill and knock it down. Knocking down the wrong flag is an instant disqualification.
Four of the mounds have a two-tone colour. These can be captured by either of the two teams indicated by the colour. Only the first one to knock down the flag gets the points, though.
The central hill is black and larger than all other hills, and can only be captured by bots that have knocked down two of their own coloured flags. (Top tip: You can entirely prevent someone from winning, if both of their dual-colour hills are captured by their opponents.) Capturing the black flag ends the game.
Orthographic view, for the sizes and angles of the hills.
Once the black flag is captured, points are awarded as follows:

Event Analysis: Grand International
In England, the Grand National is the most notorious horse race they have, with horse and rider barely able to complete the course. Here at RoBattle, we've got our own version!
The Grand International takes place with all four bots racing two laps around the course. Simple as that, really. There are edge barriers on the course, but they're absent from the model for the sake of clarity. Going off the course is an instant 0 points, of course.
Start line, with four heavyweights lined up.
Top-down view.
First obstacle in the lap: A gently curved ramp.
Second and third obstacles are a hay bale wall over a sharp drop into water, and a rumble strip, to round out the first half of the circuit.
The second half of the circuit begins with a flat faced ramp.
It concludes with some hay bales up a ramp, and a jump over water. Depending on which lap it is, the bots either take another right turn back near the start line, or straight ahead for the finish line.
Three points are awarded to the first bot to finish, or the furthest bot around the course after five minutes. Two to the bot that got the next furthest around the course, and so on. 0 points are awarded to any bot to go off course.

RoBattle Discussion
Going to make a slight executive decision about this tournament, regarding the Tapatalk business. RoBattle's heats will be concluded before then, with week 8 of heats. From there, the finals will be postponed, until the move is completed. However, don't worry, there will still be two things to do.
1) RoBattle Off-Season. I was originally going to host this after the tournament, but I'll do it now because we've got the time. Basically each week, I'll post a single megathread, for an event of some kind. You may sign up with any bot, still under RoBattle rules, and then also provide RP for your bot in that event in the same post. I'll then write up results when I get around to it.
2) Wild Cards. Four bots are required to make it to the finals of RoBattle in each weight class, but only one from each heat is guaranteed. This vote will be for all second place bots, with the sole winner also qualifying for the finals. Expect more details when the vote goes live, at the end of Week 8.
