This Saturday there's another Pennbots event I'll be going to. This time I'm going to bring Hit or Miss, my half of the multi-bot Back to Basics to compete alone, and a fairy hopefully.

Last week I ordered a new vdd weapon kit which came in a few days ago. I never realized how worn out my old one was until I got a new one, the friction was terrible. If I was still tossing bots around when I won HORD, I should be able to throw someone to the ceiling now! lol

Hehe, thanks. I dunno if you watched both videos, but the one you didn't comment on (the Take 1 one) has even better hits in it I think. I can't wait to see what I can do once I get a custom blade made. I'll have to post a picture later (Yes, I finally got a final-product CAD of it).

Hehe, alrightly. Well, I won anotehr event.... I placed 1st in the tournament AND I won the rumble...again. Even though I lost my first match, battled dying transmitter batteries all day, and totally stripped out my metal vdd gears, I still came out on top.
I KOed one of my opponents, and while he was sitting htere upside down, smoke started POURING out his bot. You have to see it to beleive it. I thought his LiPolies were going to catch on fire and explode. I uploaded a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gByWMxLTVaQ
Up next for Hit or Miss will probably be a new body made out of UHMW to withstand a hit from any of those oh-so-prevalent brushless spinners of doom, not to mention a custom disc, and oh yeah- a brushless motor. Funds pending of course...

Also, could a mod change this topic title to: Hit or Miss and other Team AC/DC projects. Thanks.

What are you talking about? The antweights will always be the little annoying kid/serious business class.

No offense to any of you young antweight builders.

Good job once again, Paul.

Every time I saw that kid I had to resist slapping him. I was on the verge of saying something to his mother yesterday.

Andrew was talking about what the kid was saying when that other kids robot went up in smoke.

Oh, and thanks for re-naming my thread.

If that kid who I think he is, I'll have my pitchfork and torch ready. Bastard kept yelling at me during one of my matches. Starting singing some song during the one match. Damnit, kid!

Yeah...this is that annoying kid that sings. Last time he was singing "My Girl", this time it was "Proud to be An American"...

On the West Coast, we have "Cell phone kid", the one who after every match at the Nationals in '05 walked up to the arena and took pictures with his phone. People got reallly pissed at him, I doubt Dylan remembers him, but he was next to us for a while.

No, but it may be because I was constantly distracted by Kompressor-kid. He looked more or less like this

I watched a bunch of videos from this one team on the Ant forum, I want to go to one of those events so badly, it's like East Coast ants haven't changed one bit from the very beginning, still lots of toys and stuff.

Yeah, the East Coast isn't evolving too quickly... Which team was that Andrew?

That team that had the axi undercutter dealie.

I was watching, almost all the fights were less than 30 seconds. People here always complained about the Sozbot arena for having two pushouts, four is a little extreme.
