is saying 'awful rfshq' some kind of subtle jab to the fact that rfshq is basically a somethingawful clone

because it's really true [/quote]
My website suck(ed) and I retired from it in 2008 because I was basically ashamed of the entire four years I spent working on it. The history and reasoning behind RFSHQ is complicated, to say the least. It's behind me, as far behind me as I can put it, and I've been trying to make amends with everyone I fucked over between now and 2003. I left the site (RFSHQ) for good because I wanted to reclaim control over my own life, RFSHQ was an image being portrayed of someone/something I was not, and it made me miserable and by proxy I stepped on the toes of a LOT of people out of my own personal insecurities. So yeah, I realize there was a lot of ill-feelings about my site - and I'm really sorry if I pissed off anybody here with my antics. :(

A friend of mine reminded me that I have an account here, and lo and behold it was still active - so I figured I'd login and see what was up with everyone and how y'all have been doing.

First post in 4 years with this account. Better late than never, I guess. :)

edit: I'm just going to go out on a limb and name off a few people right off the bat that I know I owe an apology to. It's a very "My Name Is Earl"-ish thing to do, I know, but I feel personally responsible for it all.

panicattacky2k: I don't remember exactly why you left the RFSHQ staff, it's all a haze to me unfortunately. I just know that I (and some of the Moderators) were kind of assholish in the way we handled things and I'm 100% certain we could have done so a little bit more maturely than what it came down to.

TeamOmegaforce/StarlessSoldier: You and I were in scuffles over a lot of inane nonsense that was entirely my own fault and doing. I'm sorry for giving you a hard time and I'm sorry for making a big dramafest over stupid BS.

Area51Escapee/Gemini(?) & NWOWWE/Zombie Mask: I know you sent us a lot of videos for RFSHQ, and honestly I don't think I ever really told you how much I appreciated your effort and how happy I was to display your content. RFSHQ was a busted website in a lot of ways, and uploading video files demanded a lot of time. It doesn't help that we ran through at least four database systems (that I can remember) that each required us to re-upload everything again and again and again. I probably could have been on-the-ball a little more than I was, considering it was my website and all.

Siphai, Minion33088, others: I cannot recall if I offended any of you in a personal way, but I am willing to bet that I upset you by proxy through my actions towards other people - and I realize that everything I did was completely retarded and uncalled for, and I'm sorry your website(s) were needlessly included in the fallout of everything.

hahaha no, don't worry about it. Anything that 'offended' me there (most notably that whole FRR nonsense) came out of my own doing. My notion that while I did have a lot of fun on RFSHQ (i think i was goliath88 over there), I slowly watched it turn into what was basically an SA clone. It's not a terrible thing, but that plus the new members kinda made it lose its identity. One of the reasons why I haven't been there in awhile.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.
