Sad!

Anyway, waiting for Bluetooth V.S Hoarfrost. I'll laugh if you two get matched up together in RB2. (inb4 i get matched up against outrage)

Hoarfrost:

Speed 9 | Traction: 9 | Torque: 3 | Weapon: 0 | Armour: 9 (+2 armoured belt)

Bluetooth:

Speed: 9 | Traction: 9 | Torque: 4 | Weapon: 1 | Armour: 7

1) His armour bonus is illegal.

2) We're equal in speed and traction, and I have more torque, so I'll accelerate faster and have more pushing power.

3) The weak hazards in RB2 can't hurt either of us.

4) I have the only active weapon. I'll use it to corral him, or punch him away, depending on which way I fire it. Then I'll pin him for effect and feed him to hazards because why not.

5) His flanking attempts will be handled by firing Bluetooth's weapons and having them sweep around his corners and sides.

6) Self-right if flipped, adjust if I see him do something unexpected, and generally don't be dumb.

Aight finally writing this.

So somehow his stats are different from RB2. Kinda cheap. Also, I have no idea what configuration he's using.

I match him for drivetrain but my robot isn't huge and awkward, so I'll probably turn faster. I also have the better wedge, given that it's a 2WD deal. Basically, go right for him, hesitate so that he misfires his hammer/gripper things and get under. Then plow him into hazards. Stay aggressive as fuck and don't let him go. Try to bend some of those flimsy-looking arms. Flank him if I can. He's gonna turn like a boat. I won't.

Here's a really old design that's never fought because it's hot garbage:

Middleweight: Orthocone

Image

Seriously, wtf is this thing? My best description would be a 'cone spinner'. It's close to being a vertical FBS, but it has a stable footprint on the ground and moves, like Dunkleosteus, on two trackball wheels that allow it to bring its unique weaponry to bear, and especially to whip the light rear portion around really quickly for some fun decimation. Basically, a single shaft, powered via chain drive by a titanic brushless motor, links the X-axis spinning head and tail, with a static section in the middle of the robot around the eyes (painted the same as the rear spinning part). Effectively, almost 2/3 of the robot benefits from weapon armour bonuses and you know what, Orthocone just looks cool, okay? I can't think of any other excuses for making something like this.

Speed: 5 | Weapon: 15 | Armour: 6 | Traction: 3 | Torque: 1

Teeth on the body are small and generic. I didn't know how to render then way back when I drew Orthocone, and I'm not wasting the time to draw them now.

Let's scrap. I'll only accept challenges from something at least somewhat outlandish itself.

Alright, we're locked in, so let us begin!
--

"In the read square, even a Russian Winter runs to the hills when he sees this wall of snow and ice coming towards him, and that wintry mix of devastation is known as: HOARFROST!"

"In the blue square, this mean lean machine has three arms that will grip you, and send you out for a ride for god knows how long! Watch out for BLUETOOTH!"

The buzzer sounds, and the two equally-matched robots go out of their squared to meet eachother, Bluetooth has better acceleration than Hoarfrost, so Bluetooth proceeds to flank it's push n' shove opponent, and Bluetooth proceeds to activate it's unique grabbing system, but Hoarfrost backs away, and proceeds to ram Bluetooth's weaponry!

Hoarfrost, being aggressive as can be, proceeds to plow Bluetooth right into the killsaws! Bluetooth disengages it's weapons, and proceeds to go right for Hoarfrost's back! The clamp is engaged and now Hoarfrost is going to get the taste of his own medicine! Oh, how the tables have turned! Hoarfrost is being slammed on top of the killsaws, but what's this? What's this? Hoarfrost manages to escape, the slow-turning monstrosity that's known as Bluetooth is now flanked by Hoarfrost, Bluetooth tries to fire it's weaponry, but Hoarfrost has the higher ground now, and Bluetooth is being pushed towards the pulverizers! Not the pulverizers!

The pulverizers don't care if you're bot if made outta aircraft-grade aluminum or steel, and Bluetooth's top hammer is getting bent! There's already a dent in it! Bluetooth tries to back out, but Hoarfrost just simply pushes the tank that is Bluetooth back into the pulverizers! The top hammer on Bluetooth is near breaking and OH NO! The top hammer on Bluetooth broke! In these close quarters, i don't think Bluetooth can open up his weaponry to the extent that it does. Ohh, i'd hate to be the team captain on The Monsterworks! Hoarfrost pulls out, and the now top-hammerless Bluetooth is quick to pursue Bluetooth, but Hoarfrost flanks Bluetooth and proceeds to ram his side hammers! That's a dent alright!

Hoarfrost flanks the side of Bluetooth and proceeds to pin Bluetooth up against the wall drums, as Bluetooth's underbelly gets shredded, as Bluetooth gets counted out due to immobility, we have a winner here!

And your winner, by knock-out, is..

I do 15 damage to his 8 weapon armour. He does 14 damage to my 10 weapon armour. I can pretty much OHKO him.

1) He has an extra point of speed, but his control is poor, and if I pivot on the spot or strafe, he really shouldn't be able to flank me.

2) Hit his spinner with my spinner.

3) Repeat.

4) Knock his spinner out.

5) Profit.

If worse comes to worst and I'm getting slaughtered, eject the tentacles at him, shoot some ink out to hinder his traction, and flee. If I get flipped, flop around like a fish on the dock until I end up right-side up.

Rooster Teeth RP:

-He's a crazy cone shape, but no matter!

-Attack him and bounce around wildly like only RT can do.

-Try not to attack him head on, so swerve around a bunch until I can get in at some kind of angle.

-Like, try not to get hurt by his weapon and stuff.

Good Luck!

I'll face Eye of Fury with a brand new bot named...

OSIRIS

Image

It's a near-360 lifter with the saw directly attached to the lifter. It covers an enormous area of the floor, though the majority of its weight is in the rear section. The saw assembly is removable, in which case the unused weapon points are put into an armour bonus that applies to the remaining weaponry (the lifter). The plow is very steep so as to be able to beat other wedges in leverage battles. It can be lifted to reveal a toothed wedge beneath, before clamping down on opponents. There are also optional teeth that fit onto the plow. They'll be rendered when I feel like rendering them.

Osiris will only be appearing in tournaments that use the CBC saw rules, as saws aren't viable in the current meta under the old rules.

Stats

Configuration One:

8 speed / 6 traction / 2 torque / 7 weapon (5 lifter / 5 saw) / 7 armour (+1 lifter)

I'll gladly face the winner of Godfather vs Giganto with a very old design named...

Triceratops

Image

So, it's a 2WD rear-hinged flipper in the vein of Inertia Labs' machines, with a chunky front plow that'll soak damage like a juggernaut due to its weapon armour bonus and with wheels near the front of the chassis so that it can always keep its weapon pointed towards its opponents. It has a bit of a longer stroke, however, since that matters in the ARC stat system. Triceratops is probably the most conventional bot on my team, but it may end up being one of the stronger performers.

Speed: 7 | Weapon: 5 | Armour: 11 (+2 weapon armour on the front plow) | Traction: 5 | Torque: 2
