here is something that this group needs a way for new writers to test the skills and for old writers just to practice there craft

there is no wright or wrong result for these fights and if you want to submit your own test fight for rookie writers to test them self's with, be my guest.

you will given pictures of two or more robots a picture of the arena they are fighting with detail of hazards and the robots in question and so on and


each robot will have a strategy and it is the writers job to get a result any way they please making sure they look at the strategy and find a winner and if it has to go to a judges decision the matches are scored on strategy, aggression and damage
and you must allocate 45 between the robots fighting getting a decisive winner

make sure its clear witch example fight you are writing for and if you want to submit your own example fight please start you chat with "example fight x) x begin the number of how many example we already have and please try keep this to example fights and results (if someone else rights a result on a fight it doesn't stop you wrighting a result on it (no to copy and past and stealing others results though)

The Robot Bastards Arena features:

-Killsaws
-Pulverizers in each corner
-Arena Drums in each corner
-A wedge wall, with an "Out of Bounds" zone that bots can be launched into for KOs. This wall is roughly 2 meters high.
-A layer of fine-grain debris on the floor. This affects the usefulness of pressing wedges. If a robot tries to press its wedge it will lose half its mobility! So the goal is to be low, but not too low, this time.

Pegasus device strategy:

as he is a 6 wheeled drive bot and the fact my lifter can press to the ground i can get under him
keep facing him and be hesitant and wait to he gives me his side or a good angle and to lift and grab and take him to a side hazard mainly the drums i can self right and due to the fact i'm a walker making me heavier it will be much harder for him to outa me
avoid the hazards my self and try avoid his charges but still keep my front facing him as best as possible and my crusher has enough power to stop his flipper freeing him but other then that feed to hazards and try not get flipped to often but good luck

pro strategy :

be aggressive go out at him and try to get ht his side avoid the lifter use my speed to out manoeuvre him only flip if i'm truly under him keep just keep flipping him i have no fuss were he goes just go for the aggression and keep him and his back he is slow to self right and will let me take advantage and push or flip him to ah a hazard or wall when he is trying to self right never give him the chance to self right keep flipping him avoid the hazards the crusher will into do much damaged to my 11 armour robot and 13 armoured flipper but if he does grab me flip or drive out of it don't let him get a hold of me but other then that good luck

Pegasus device walks out of its square slowly but gets attacked by Pro straight away. Pro tries to flip Pegasus's device over but struggles due to the shape, then out of nowhere Pegasus's device gets a lifts Pro in the air and brings the crusher down on to Pros flipper trying to take out the co2 tank. But Pegasus's device only makes little holes into the flipper, Pro gets out of the hold and gets a fantastic flip on Pegasus's device and pushes it to one of the arena drums. The arena drum takes a chunk out of Pegasus devices lifter meaning it cant out wedge Pro anymore. Pro takes Pegasus's device to the OOTA zone and scores an flip on Pegasus's device which flips it out. Pro wins as Pegasus's device lies dead and defeated

( the top bit of the lifter already stops robots getting free also i change the height of it pre match to make it fit the robot i am fighting)

the stratergys

jaws strat:

i will have my flipper facing him to start with so i don't need to worry about my jaws reucnign my speed as i will only use them when nessesery so keep them of hte floor to when i need them he will have to get to my sides as my flipper can and wil lget udner his wedge so keep facing him let hi mbe hte agressor but if he shows to much of his sdie go agressvie and go for a flip if he tries to go for my side show hi mmy lifter and get it under his wedge and lift hi up and take him to a hazord his expsoed wheels wil lbe destroyed in seconds if he gets under me try spin out of it

th strat: aim for sides he has thin weponry so this shoudl be easy try biat him to make mistakes though make it look like i will ram him but at the last second pull out of it and ram form a diffrent angle i know he has 2 wepaons and i want ot avido both but his lifter can't lift my wheels of the floor if he goes front on with me and i still have more pushing power avido the hazzords and push him to the saws aviod the drums and the walls iwant ot keep cotnro lbut ont give hi ma chace to get me into a hazrod use my speed and control to out mnaover and push him where i want and use the axe to rack up piotns for the judges
