Ruination: The Contagion: Predictions Thread!

Post by Badnik96 » Sun Sep 20, 2015 1:06 am

It's that time of season again, time for some predictions!!!

--Lightweights--

1)Zombie Killer
Josh is a cheap bastard :v:
2)Zadkiel
The most solid undercutter out there. It should do as well as it usually does.
3)Redline
I feel confident enough that I can go about this far. Maybe to the finals but I don't want to push my luck.
4)Conqueror
Alex is starting to make some serious breakthroughs with this bot. Lots of non-invertible robots mean this could be his season.
5)Eudial
Knowing Kody, it'll do well. How well depends on how high that weapon is compared to the wedges...
6)Frequency
Honestly this and Eudial are interchangeable.
7)Translaytor
Now THIS is how you do melty brain. Excited to see it fight, and I feel confident that it'll do well.
8)British Bammer
Hephaestus anyone? Another dark horse that could easily make the playoffs if RP'd for well enough.
9)Dead
Generic undercutter, almost made the playoffs in LoRE. Playzooki need to step up his RP game in order to do well in this crowd, though.
10) Veto
The least proven of the overhead spinners. If Brian can prove to be a decent RPer, I can see this doing better than I've placed it.
11)Scorching Rage
It's got a decent design, but both wedges and spinners are gonna like eating into that nice exposed wedge, especially without any side skirts.
12)Silver Phantom
It's low, it's got a nice spinner, but I can't see the two wasted Torque points helping much. Maybe a dark horse.
13)Cuddle Time!
It has the potential to win a few matchups, but it's outmaneuvered by most rammers and has enough weak points where many of the spinners could take advantage of it. I expect similar performance to the second incarnation of WhipCoil.
14)Mr. D
It's not gonna happen. Sorry Marti. XD

--Middleweights--
1)Marauder
It's got stats in the right place. It's built like a freaking tank. It has incredibly few weaknesses. Marauder's gonna be a tough nut to crack this season.
2)Braveheart
The thwack will help against all these wedges going around, while it can still push with the best of them. Keep an eye out for this one.
3)Latvian Gambit
Marti did well enough with it to make the finals of LoRE despite crticism. I think it'll do just as well here.
4)Jinx
Kody will RP well enough to get it into the playoffs, but for some reason I think it's lacking something. Though it might just be me always doubting this robot. It's still pretty solid.
5)Merry Hampton
Still bullshit, though this time there are even LESS spinners for it to take advantage of! It could underperform again like it did last time, though it's still one of the most solid bots in the tournament.
6)March or Die
Still moving ever closer to that elusive playoff spot. I think this could be Playzooki's season if he RPs well.
7)Warwolf
Now that Mystic has this thing dialed in, I think it'll be a dark horse. It could even make the playoffs if Mystic RPs well.
8)King Dedede
The hammer will hit hard. However I think only having the 90 degree weapon arc will hurt it, because as long as the hammer's up its center of gravity is really high for something that narrow. We'll see what happens.
9)Upchuck
Good flipper here, and it has its stats in the right place. Could be another dark horse. The MW class is pretty solid this time around.
10)Tesla's Revenge
Break even, that's all I'm asking for!
11)Glass Cannon
It spins... too fast? It'll kill a lot of the weaker-armored things but against anything with decent armor it'll collapse quickly
12)Air Time
It's essentially T-Minus. I could see it doing well if Brian proves to be a good RPer, but he's really going to need to put in work.
13)Suplex
I like the Master vibe, but it's a REALLY spindly design. I think the lack of bulk in the weapon design and the very exposed wheels will kill it often.
14)Tiki Dude
Frostbite's design never really did that well, and a lack of wedge protection (unless those black trapezoids are meant to be side skirts? I can't really tell) or armor means it's going to be fodder for a lot of the class.

--Heavyweights--
1)Redemption Denied
Yes Josh I'm giving you two titles. That's what happens when you enter the lowest possible flipper in a class where it can shine.
2)Shadow Zone Forever
Your wedges are trash bro. :v:
3)Klarinette
I'm only putting it this low because I can't stand to see it in the finals again. :v:
4)Rocket Knight
VERY solid machine by TBR here. Potential to go all the way.
5)LashCoil
I have a feeling that LashCoil will do well enough to warrant this spot. Though the class is very, very tough this season.
6)Kraze
Powerful flipper and enough speed and armor to stay competitive. A bit lacking in torque, but it won't be shunted around easily at least.
7)Barley Picker
The one spinner that I think has a chance in this division. It's got the low wedge and powerful weapon, which was able to propel Immolator to the playoffs in Crazy Bots. Could we see an upset here?
8)Rampage
Now this I like. While its wedge isn't hinged, it has super-high torque and a nice weapon to whack people with. A solid dark horse pick.
9)Shrek
Spinner killer in a class with few spinners. Shrek did well enough to almost get a playoff spot last time though so who knows.
10)Brute Force
It's rather... rudimentary for a brick. That big-ass wedge will cause steering issues and it has no side protection. It'll hold up well but get outdriven quickly.
11)Chimera
Suffers from the same problem as the initial variants of Phantasmic Slammer did, that is being unable to self-right. In a class full of bricks and lifters that is not what you want. Still, it's designed well enough that it could grab a few wins.
12)Power Bar
Wrong season to enter a spinner. Though Power Bar, I think, will be the best of the three brute-force ones. Could get some surprise wins.
13)Jackelyn Cryderman
Bigger bite than Blaze, but it'll still be hard-pressed to collect many wins. Maybe Marti's got some tricks up his sleeve?
14)Golden Blaze
It really hurts to put this here, but HW is so full of bricks it'll almost never get a win. Sorry Mystic.

--Super Heavyweights--
1)Agent X
I see it happening this season. Not much stands in its way, aside from Mandetta, but I think Nick can take it.
2)Mandetta
It'll be really close between these two and it could go either way.
3)Stabstract
It's shapeshifted into a catfish! And it's still as bullshit as ever!
4)Chemical Explosion
Incredibly solid. It'll go far for sure.
5)Uridium
Hi there Malevolence :v: It'll hit most of the bricks for some solid damage, but I worry about its resilience against some of these spinners.
6)Nitro Express
Solid brick with a good weapon, though the lack of wedge protection worries me. This will likely go far, but there's so many gimmick/joke bots in the class it'd be hard not to.
7)Pathos
Again, with so many gimmick bots in the class, a solid brick like this will do well.
8) Dat Dog
Decent looking enough to get here. A lack of hinged wedge and exposed wheels could hurt it though.
9)The Angry Goat
A solid pushbot, but too many wheels for my tastes. Could be a dark <del>goat</del> horse though.
10)Desolation
I have gone too far and I am awaiting my punishment from the writers. :v:
11)Mack the Knife
Shades of Hector LeMans? I doubt it. Lacking armor and a decent wedge due to the same issues Shade Fist had (more weapon weight means the wedge is hovering off the ground).
12)Libra
Armor? We don't need no stinkin' armor! It'll do better than some other things but worse than most of the field.
13)Meat Rub King
Not your best work at all. 4/20 needs more effort and less dank memes.
14)Endgame
It's been tried, it's failed spectactularly. It's also succeeded far beyond anyone's wildest dreams, but that's because NFX is a cheap bastard. This legged box definitely won't be the next MDU and it'll probably go the way of Spin Cycle or Extreme Gyration instead.

Now go out and prove me wrong!

Ruination: The Contagion: Predictions Thread!

Ah nice, a prediction thread for Ruiniation: THE OMEN!

LW
Tough crowd, but I predict a final between SCARAB and ANNOYING BOX RUSH. Won by the latter, by knockout, in roughly 1 minute and 53 seconds.
Winner: Annoying Box Rush
Runner-up: Scarab

MW
Some nice designs here, but I expect the relatively obscure GREEN HORNET will cause an upset and reach the finals. It won't win them though, that honor will go to the established powerhouse FORCE FEEDBACK, in a close 24-21 JD.
Winner: Force Feedback
Runner-up: Green Hornet

HW
Putting my money on a KLARINETTE vs SNIJMACHINE final here, they just seem the best designs. Klarinette wins the title, but it will be another close 24-21 JD.
Winner: Klarinette
Runner-up: Snijmachine

SHW
While I'm not the kind of person who'd blow his own trumpet, I do expect PEPPERNUT will make it to the finals. I expect the same from TERESA, and I must sadly admit, I expect the latter to win the JD, 26-19, give or take.
Winner: Teresa
Runner-up: Peppernut

Those are my predictions of Ruination: THE OMEN, thanks for making this thread Badnik.

Fixed the thread title, and made some predictions while I was at it. :P

Lightweights
Champion: Zombie Killer
Beautifully designed rammer, has the capability to take on other rammers in the division, as well as the plethora of spinners as well. Nothing too fancy, but it's a tried and tested design that has brought success in the past. Barring any surprises, I'm expecting Josh to go all the way with this one.

Runner-Up: Conqueror
Plenty of overhead spinners this time around, so I think Alex has the chance to go quite far if he can hold up against them. Doesn't have the push of bots like Zombie Killer or Redline, but the flipper could prove decisive against the non-invertible opposition.

Semi-Finalists: Eudial & Frequency
Ridiculously similar in design, but they should be just as tricky to fight as one another. There are a couple of bots out there that could stop them in their tracks, however, but I can see them both going on a pretty deep run. Maybe Eudial's extra damage potential will nudge her that little bit further.

Dark Horse: British Bammer
A big powerful hammer, capable of taking the fight to both rammers AND spinners. Plenty of Armour to hold up against them as well. Might be a little on the sluggish side, but with some strong RP's, I can see this one scoring an upset or two through the season.

Middleweights
Champion: Marauder
HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO FIGHT THIS THING. Very strong wedge up front, supporting wedges on the sides, big plow on the back for spinners, tough Armour all over, solid pushing ability, it's got the lot. Turning could be an issue with the tracks, but I can't see that causing too many problems.

Runner-Up: Latvian Gambit
Surprised me with how well it did in LoRE2, but we can see why here. Similar to Marauder, a lifter with tracks, but its more powerful weapon compromises it elsewhere. Also tougher for it to get underneath opponents effectively with the plow being the lifter as well, but it should go far once again.

Semi-Finalists: March or Die & Merry Hampton 3
March or Die is a very, very strong flipper design, in my view. It could go very far if Playzooki puts in some good RP's for it. Merry Hampton, also, you can't count out. Fast and controlled brick that should withstand just about anything. Lack of Torque could be an issue, but it should definitely be a bitch to fight, as per usual.

Dark Horse: Jinx IV
It's a reasonably well-balanced machine, with a good pairing of axe and lifting arms, plus the scoop on the back and the 2WD giving it a very versatile platform. It's kind of a 'jack of all trades, master of none' style of robot, but it's Kody, so it would be foolish to bet against him at least staying in the hunt for a playoff spot.

Heavyweights
Champion: Shadow Zone Forever
Fast as hell rammer with a big-ass wedge and enough shove to run the match. It's done it before, and I think it's got the capability to do it again. Four-wheel-drive gives a great balance of manouverability and control, which I think could prove critical against the opposition.

Runner-Up: Redemption Denied
Front wedge is surprisingly effective, and it'll be a pain to get anything past it with the 2WD giving it an edge in manouverability. Gigantic flipper will score well with the judges and rattle the opposition to boot, but I think SZF just has the edge over it this time around.

Semi-Finalists: Klarinette & Rocket Knight
Klarinette because fuck you, it should be able to get underneath pretty much anything with its scoop, but it will be slower to manouver against other rammers. Speaking of rammers, SZF is very highly rated, but what about Rocket Knight? Very similar design, plus it has the lifter factor to increase wedginess. Perhaps I'd have dropped the Armour a little and upped the drivetrain stats, but I'm predicting this to be TBR's breakthrough bot this time around.

Dark Horse: Kraze
Yep, I'm not as confident as I should be, perhaps. Given the competition, though, I think it'll be tougher than I first thought. Still, Kraze has come back revised and ready to do battle again, with a more reliable wedge at the front, tougher Armour and flips for days. Could perhaps reach the final if things go well.

Super Heavyweights
Champion: Mandetta
As Badnik said, very tough to pick between Martijn and I for this division. I feel that Martijn's advantages in Drivetrain could swing it, although the manouverability he's giving up with 6WD could tip the balance the other way. Should be a terrific fight between us, though, whoever comes out on top.

Runner-Up: Agent X
I hate blowing my own trumpet, but yeah. Strong wedge at the front, plow at the back for dealing with spinners, invertibility, solid amount of push, and the versatile lifting arm. Did very well last time out, but I'm worried it could be too balanced to deal with specialised opposition. We'll see, though, there must be a good reason why everybody hates it. :v:

Semi-Finalists: Stabstract & Uridium
Lian proves his bricking credentials with a cross between Shadow Zone Forever and Klarinette that should be just as tough to fight as both of them put together. Lack of both manouverability and damage potential could be its undoing. Uridium is almost the opposite, it's definitely got the punch to knock its opposition out, but it's definitely a little on the sluggish side. I'm not going to bet against it, though, it could be time for the axebots to join the main event.

Dark Horse: Chemical Explosion
I almost immediately fell in love with this design when I first saw it, and I think it definitely has the chance to do well here. A tracked spinner isn't as common today as it once was, and while the speedier bricks could have their way with it, its blend of weapon potency and control might be the surprise of the tournament. It even has a wedge on the back for good measure. Should at least make the playoffs, and could even go further with a little luck.

So that's how I reckon things will pan out. Now watch as I am proven completely wrong. =D

I dont think i know enough about this to make accurate predictions, so I wont do that for this tourney... although I can totally self right with Chimera Badnik. dont know where you coulda heard otherwise :P . it's just a little iffy if it's got the wedge on due to the flipper power compared to the wedge length.

Theoretically, Kraze should be able to, I've seen NFX have a render of Kraze's flipper to its full extents. Its arm does go to the back anyhow. :v: Combined with its weapon power, I don't think it's too farfetched.

Chimera... I would have to see a render of it with its flipper out to its max extent. But right now, I don't think the leverage combined with the power could right it. I think it would just pop the bot into the air almost completely vertically.

If you want, The_Angry_Goat, I can allow you to fix that. I have a week to write up the schedule, anyway. :v:

Alright, you wanted predictions?! Well I got predictions for you!!

TEAM COVENANT PREDICTIONS

----

LIGHTWEIGHTS

1. Zombie Killer (because you know he came prepared. Enough speed and torque to fuck slower bots up and that rear plow, jesus christ)
2. Veto (I'm going on a long shot here, but imo he looks the most fearsome of the bar spinners. If he RPs well, this newcomer really could be the next LW champ)
3. Translytor (another vicious newcomer spinner!)
4. Eudial (because we totally didn't need so many overpowered bar spinners, right?)
5. Frequency (honestly, this and Eudial are interchangeable)
6. Scorching Rage (eh I think he could pull off a good record and perhaps a play-off spot if good things happen... like Mystic RPing)
7. Dead (its weapon isn't going to survive the match but maybe he'll hang in there)
8. Zadkiel (this guy again? well it's certainly the best of Lian's entries. And I don't mean by ranking :v: )
9. Redline (you know, it kind of hurts putting him down here, but there's so many damn spinners and there's places on his 9 armour to catch, so he could be OHKO'd by almost all the spinners out there O__o)
10. Conqueror (same deal with Redline, except... well he can tank hits slightly easier, maybe, but his drive stats (specifically his torque) are nowhere near as good, and he won't keep the spinners in control. Again, it's a shame since his stats are completely fine)
11. British Bammer (sadly I don't think he's going to survive long enough here. I think an armour bonus to the front would have helped him survive easier)
12. Silver Phantom (another spinner... with torque!)
13. Mr. D (another spinner...)
14. Cuddle Time (it's just too boxy for fight all the spinners, but maybe it could prove swift enough to survive them)

Summary: Not one lightweight has bad stats, at all. It's just the THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF SPINNERS ruining everyone's fun. :v:

----

MIDDLEWEIGHTS

1. March or Die (I must be nuts. But uhhhh I think he can finally snatch playzooki a real tournament this time around)
2. Marauder (I'm still not thoroughly convinced the lifter works just as well inverted. But as if to counter my claim, it looks incredibly hard to flip...)
3. Braveheart (weakly invertible, but like Marauder you have to flip him first)
4. WarWolf (no seriously, I really like this guy. Go Mystic!)
5. Upchuck (a very nice flipper. Is this a flipper heavy class?)
6. Latvian Gambit (the champ returns, but unfortunately he has a lot of work cut out for him this time)
7. Airtime (ANOTHER flipper! The boxy corners would be a hindrance if there were many spinners in the class...)
8. King Dedede (the hammer seems not so powerful for my liking, but hey! At least he can OHKO Jinx! :v: )
9. Tesla's Revenge (the lack of control will hurt, but you can't deny the awesomeness of that weapon synergy)
10. Merry Hampton (the wedges don't seem so good, but he's... very well armoured)
11. Jinx (a lifter/axe that gets fucked by the split weapon rule. And 5 body armour. Good grief)
12. Suplex (a Stinger-alike. It's very spindly for my liking and that will probably cost it)
13. Tiki Dude (yow... 6 points between its weapon armour and body armour... can it kill anything before it kills itself?)
14. Glass Cannon (shell spinner... it doesn't even get the weapon armour bonus. 11 point difference. It's going to die in one hit, let alone five. Can it... erm, maybe not :/)

Summary: Lots of flippers here.

----

HEAVYWEIGHTS

1. Shadow Zone Forever (yes I'm going to be a dick and put him here because I can. Mwa ha ha. Actually I put him here because he is just too fucking fast, controlled, pushy, and that rear armour bonus is going to deny all those spinners. The way to beat this guy is with a really powerful axe. Or to get around the plow. Can that happen?)
2. Redemption Denied (a very nice flipper. A very very nice flipper. He's on the hunt for the CBNBC crown, and he just might get it. Being a potential champ is one thing, but the stats and design speak another. He's probably the lowest flipper of the competition, and has some power behind it)
3. Barley Picker (why not? those twins discs are going to be a pain and the wedge design is good enough to maybe even defeat some lifters)
4. Kraze (eye rape flipper! Will get revenge on Klarinette for Cutie Honey's loss :P)
5. Klarinette (and I used to like this bot. Yeah, this is what you get.)
6. LashCoil (it's a lifter/clamper. U jelly?)
7. Rocket Knight (it's Shrek, but nicer and with more wheels. So that automatically makes it better :v: )
8. Shrek (your average brick)
9. Power Bar (14 weapon, need I say more?)
10. Jackelyn Cryderman (everyone's favourite spambot returns... to flop again)
11. Golden Blaze (I think he can do better this time around? But not by much. Honestly think he should have upped the weapon power just a bit)
12. Rampage (to be honest, I really hate putting the three new guys at the bottom, but the stat system IS tricky. He's better than the other two but he has too much torque and not enough speed, or weapon power to do lasting damage with the axe)
13. Chimera (same issues as with the bot above, not to mention the body armour takes a massive hit from his armour bonus, from where spinners can easily catch the front edges of the two plows)
14. Brute Force (the traction, combined with the 6WD and length of the body, are going to make so hard for this bot to turn. He's going to move so fast, but then really be unable to turn or even stop. Don't sweat it though)

Summary: Some bricks and flippers, but actually a diverse class.

----

SUPERHEAVYWEIGHTS

1. Chemical Explosion (yep, I think TBR will have his first CFL championship here. It's a powerful spinner with tracks! And invertible!)
2. Uridium (I really like this thing. It's the most powerful axe we've seen recently and it should really do a lot of damage)
3. Mack the Knife (stupidly powerful vertical spinner with the same stats as CE)
4. Desolation (eh, it's asshole-y statted and Badnik can go die in a hole, however that doesn't make the spinner less effective... but it's still trash bro :v: )
5. Stabstract (horns up and knives out, bitches!)
6. Nitro Express (decently statted drum, but really not as powerful as one would like)
7. Agent X (I disagree with the people who have put him at the top, I don't think the armour bonus helped at all, and instead it will probably hurt him since one can catch the edges of the plow easily)
8. Mandetta (even less well statted than Agent X... but hey! Vendetta!)
9. Pathos (I like it, but he'll have to prove himself this time around)
10. Meat (very boxy and spinner vulnerable, but he can flip!)
11. Dat Dog (damn... that wedge isn't going to touch the ground :( otherwise he would be an incredibly potent rambot, even with the paint pic!)
12. Endgame (despite how powerful it is, one hit and that traction value is going to throw him across the arena. It's likely he'll throw himself onto his side)
13. Libra (I honestly don't know how well the Cyprine/Ptilol duo will do. Either it will be incredibly clever, or incredibly stupid. Or both. Erm... lesbians. Idk.)
14. Angry Goat (...thin. 10WD. 4 traction. My mind will implode.)

Summary: Another diverse class.

12. Rampage (to be honest, I really hate putting the three new guys at the bottom, but the stat system IS tricky. He's better than the other two but he has too much torque and not enough speed, or weapon power to do lasting damage with the axe)
[/quote]See, Rampage was tough, because the idea for that kind of robot came to me long before I had ever heard of any fantasy robot fighting websites. The idea was that it's supposed to be like Tornado, in the sense that it's not very fast, but it's incredibly powerful and pushes the other robots around with incredible ease. There had to be some compromises to fit the axe on there, but that's the best stat allocation I could think of to emulate the idea. I admittedly don't know how the system works here. If you don't mind me asking for advice, how do you think I should allocate the stats in the future?

Josh's STONE COLD LEAD PIPE LOCKS!

LW:

1. Zombie Killer
-It's actually been awhile since ZK was entered and it wasn't the best showing then to say the least. There's such a wealth of spinners in LW that he can tank that he has a good chance to run away with things here.

2. Conqueror
-Like ZK, this is probably as good as this design is ever going to look. I think he could deal with the spinners well, but his lower acceleration might hurt him a bit against rammers.

3. Eudial
-Bring on the spinner log jam! It's pretty hard to separate them in terms of potential effectiveness so I might as well go with sex appeal. :v:

4. Frequency
-Pretty damn similar to Eudial. Slightly worse wedging ability I guess? :headache:

5. Zadkiel
-Fuck, another spinner. Zads is lean and mean, but might get lost in the crowd a bit.

6. dead
-I give up! I can't keep doing this! Uhh... well it's wheels look kinda small.

7. Veto
-More spinners! Sweet mercy!

8. Redline
-Well the reason I have him below the spinner crowd is because I'm just not convinced he has the most effective anti-spinner defense really. Not saying he'll get blown out by them or that he won't be a top LW bot by the end. I'm just a bit wary.

9. Scorching Rage
-Cool looking bot, but that big gap in the middle is going to have all the spinners salivating all season long with corner damage potential.

10. British Bammer
-Cool design, wrong fucking tournament man.

11. Cuddle Time
-I hope you like using that plow because there won't be much chance to do anything different.

12. Silver Phantom
-Hey another spinner! Too bad he's going to blow himself up.

13. Translayor
-Strange design. Could be cool, but probably won't get much time to shine.

14. Mr. D
-Probably should have evolved him for this tournament.

MW:

1.Marauder
-Fuck off. Actually I entered ZK so I guess I can't talk. :v:

2. Merry Hampton
-Lian's uber rammer is back again. I demand that him and Alex have to fight irl to determine the MW champion. :v:

3. Latvian Gambit
-Man I thought LW was dumb but MW is even fucking worse! Who didn't enter a champion in this fucking weight class?

4. Braveheart
-Yep, 4 outta 4 so far. You've gotta be fucking kidding me.

5. Upchuck
-I should rank this #1 out of principle. I'm pulling for you big time TBR!

6. Jinx
-Nope back to former champions. I'm ranking Jinx this high just to piss Kody off. :v:

7. WarWolf
-Don't feel too bad about being lower. This division sucks.

8. King Dedede
-Maybe he'll be able to kill some stuff with the hammer. For gods sake at least be better than RoS!

9. March or Die.
-He's still solid, but never seems to be able to make that next step.

10. Glass Cannon
-I think there are some bots he can kill before he blows up.

11. Airtime
-A bit on the slow side for a flipper. It's a tough field to be constantly out-sped in.

12. Tiki Dude
-Doesn't look quite the way I remember him. But again, this is going to be a hard weight class.

13. Tesla's Revenge
-I dunno. I'm not really buying him being able to get his opponents in that dustpan often enough.

14. Suplex
-Repeat?

HW:

1. Shadow Zone Forever
-Kody brings him back to rule HW... FOREVER!

2. Klarinete
-Gay robot sex again? If this bot wins again, I quit. :v:

3. Redemption Denied
-Statted a bit differently than it was in Crazy Bots, but he proved effective there. Can he keep it up is the question.

4. Kraze
-An always dependable bot from Nick, but also seems to always fall a bit short.

5. Rocket Knight
-It's been cool to see TBR's teams getting better and better with each tournament. Rocket Knight could be a sneaky good contender here.

6. Barley Picker
-A spinner from Alex V.??? Is this real life??? Cool design, but he'll find some trouble with the lame bots like SZF and Klarinette

7. Chimerea
-Maybe I'm completely nuts here, but this could be interesting. I'd feel better if it was faster though...

8. Lashcoil
-It looks really cool, but he might have a difficult time clamping all the speedy wedges.

9. Shrek
-Meh. Probably will do better, but I think there are better wedge bots out there.

10. Rampage
-A cool looking hammerbot, but it needed more power.

11. golden Blaze
-Looks like a tough weight class for spinner unfortunately.

12. Powerbar
-Ummm... there's not much detail to go on it seems. Weapon system looks off-center and stuff.

13. JC
-It looks really cool and stuff.

14. Brute Force
-Way too much control issue going on here.

SHW:

1. Agent X
-Nick is a cheap bastard. :v:

2. Stabstract
-Team diversity doesn't seem to be much of a concern for Lian. Should be reasonably effective.

3. Chemical Explosion
-He might have a good shot at winning the whole thing if he can take down those pesky rammers!

4. Uridium
-I really dig this design and I think he'll be able to put in a good showing this season.

5. Mandetta
-Still would prefer to see Vendetta, but whatever. :P

6. Desolation
-I refuse to buy into this garbage Badnik. :v:

7. Dat Dog
-Might be Toxic's best shot this season. Nothing fancy, but it could do all right.

8. Meat
-See above.

9. Libra
-A tricky multi-bot. Should be fun to keep an eye on at least.

10. Pathos
-Reasonably sturdy, but the low power lifter feels like a bit of a waste.

11. Mack the Knife.
-Better looking then the discarded Backlash version, but we'll see if he can score some big KO wins.

12. Nitro Express.
-Kinda reminds me of Toxic Hazard. It's going to be a bit of a tough division for him though.

13. Angry Goat
-He's rocking that retro Reflector Shield look! Maneuverability is going to kill him though.

14. End Game
-Yikes!

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.
