Introducing /r/Battlebots Hammerfall

Hey guys.

So I completely forgot about this forum many, MANY years ago. I figured that CFRC was dead. Because of my assumptions, I decided to ask reddit.com/r/battlebots if they would be down for a Custom Fantasy Robot Tournament. From the replies I have seen, it seems as if many people would be interested in this tournament.

I am using the rules that CFRC uses to put on their tournaments, and I am "hiring" my own set of writers.

Please note: I still need TWO writers. If you would like to participate as a writer in my Reddit Battlebots tournament, please let me know ASAP. I already have two people but I'd love to have a few seasoned ARC veterans writing fights as well.

Again, I have no idea if this will take off, but I would love if you could help write fights or participate in the tournament.

I'll look into it, but I'm concentrating on Ruination: The Contagion as well so I don't think I'll be able to be a writer.

Nice to see the effort, though! :cool: I also like how you adopted my multi-weapon rule even though I just made it for Ruination, lol. I have no idea if it'll work.

I just hope the writers I picked are good. Thats the only wildcard I'm concerned about right now.

(Spatula) made the eyebrow raising decision to put playzooki on staff for Robot Bastards and by all accounts that actually worked out pretty well.

Oh yeah, and my entry's up.

Okay, just moving the thread here. It may not be an ARC tournament in the strict sense, but it since Production Studio is mostly used for housing old Results/Sign-up threads, this felt more appropriate.

Thanks for moving this here. I was just sent a question from a user about stats, I since ya'll are much more seasoned than I am on clarification of stat allocation, I figured I'd post it here in hopes that you guys could explain it a bit better:

May enter this, but given my FF rate i wonder if it is actually worthy, well at least it's 1 RP rather than 4, then again, i don't even have a design idea for this to begin with
