Oh yes, I've been sitting on this for a while, and now I'm finally intending to get this shit off the ground.

Any questions about the tournament can be made here, and I'll answer them to the best of my ability. Or ignore them if they're daft.

This is the Fantasy Fury style thing you've been planning for like 4 years now right?

I'm so in. In fact I originally designed The No Patrol to be my entrant for this, but then it morphed into a ring spinner.

[/quote]Same here. Mostly because using any other HW I currently have would mean using another flipper or using a spinner (and Ocelot already kinda failed at this kind of thing before).

I have considered starting things off with less than 18 entries, maybe 16 entries, or 12 if it's particularly slow, but I wanted to get the views of those involved, or those thinking of getting involved.

Being serious for a moment, we were discussing a gap between Ruination 3 and the next FRR, which would definitely help prevent people getting burnt out. Redoing the Top 100 CFL Bots Ever list was mentioned as something we could do in that gap, maybe Mech Mash could also run in the gap, since the only person who has to do anything there would be me. Still lets the vast majority of people relax and have a break or so.
