FRR: No Mercy - Spreads

Post by That Kode Guy » Tue Feb 11, 2014 11:58 am

It's tradition. :v: Anyway, let's rock.

----

Week 1

Lightweights

Jesus Built My Hotrod vs. Dr. P

I don't know. I think without a wedge and a proper way to get his spikes into play, he's nutfucked.

Dr. P = 85%

Eight vs. Certificate to Hurt People

playzooki has things wrapped up already, I'd say.

CtHP = 100% (lock)

Cherax vs. Zadkiel

Cherax will have poor turning even with the solid drivetrain stats, thanks to that heavy-ass wedge in front. Thing is, Zadkiel's slow enough for Cherax to stall him anyway. I'll give it to Spatula.

Cherax = 75%

Rascal vs. Airazor

Philip needs to rely on the tips of those forks for victory. Kody needs to rely on the crusher for victory. BOTH will need extensive use of the hazards.

Airazor = 51%

Bad Trip vs. Right Thoughts Right Words Right Activate!

Actually this could be close thanks to Steve's lower armour. Max will need to get him on that wedge however and it doesn't look too likely.

Right Thoughts Right Words Right Activate! = 65%

Guerilla vs. Gaia Hammer

Mr. AS probably has this, but he can't let himself get caught in the dustpan.

Guerilla = 60%

Red Zone vs. War Bastard

Ooh, this oughta be fun. Although I think the double discs might actually be a detriment to GF93's gameplan.

Red Zone = 55%

Dr. Robotnik vs. Smoke & Mirrors

Garn. I'm not seeing much the good Doc can do against two decently armour bricks. =/

Smoke & Mirrors = 70%

Middleweights

The "No" Patrol vs. Sarge

If Sarge lifts No Patrol onto its back, he'll probably take it. However that lifter might get banged up badly. Close.

Sarge = 51%

Incredible Dong Adventure vs. Mimete

I don't even know how to describe this fuckin match. That flipper looks like a dong, actually, but I have no effing clue how it's supposed to work, seeing as Mr. AS described it as a "side" flipper and seeing the picture.

Mimete = 85%

Freezerburn vs. Square Wave

Ugh. Freezerburn gets "delta" raw deal. :D

Square Wave = 90%

Odium New Hero vs. Clawdius Minimus

Tricky. Odium could chew up Clawdius' armour or Clawdius could drag him to hazards. Close, but Rob probably won't RP anyway. :(

Odium New Hero = 51%

Lost Ring vs. Stingray

Wow, what a first match for this poor bot. Saying that he's up against it is quite the understatement.

Stingray = 95%

Jackal vs. Dancing Headless

I don't think Philip has the speed to keep up.

Jackal = 75%

March or Die vs. Merry Hampton BR

Lian has basically fucked himself over because that huge, huge wedge in front (not as bad as Cherax though) is going to make it harder to turn. I'll take playzooki for the "upset".

March or Die = 70%

Sweet Tooth vs. Green Dragon

I wish I could say Max can win this but I don't believe it. He could easily get thwacked and left open for business.

Green Dragon = 80%

Heavyweights

Elvira 2 vs. MiDAS

Interesting. Elvira has a shot if she keeps pounding MiDAS' armour, but MiDAS has that awesome lifter.

MiDAS = 60%

Mass Hypnosis vs. Parasite

Wunderbar. Parasite again. Well I'm pretty sure one shot will end it, the question is who will get it. :v:

Parasite = 51%

Malevolence vs. Klarinette

One trip to the drum should do the trick.

Klarinette = 80%

Babaganoush vs. Murder is Fun

Man the golden shaving basin's got his work cut out for him.

Murder Is Fun = 80%

Golden Blaze vs. Striker

Call me crazy but I see the newcomer pulling off a surprise upset due to Striker's below-average armour.

Golden Blaze = 65%

Diablo vs. Truth or Consequences

It's flippin' time!

Truth or Consequences = 65%

Dreadnought vs. Snijmachine

Dreadnought really has no way of controlling Snijmachine. If Snij starts inverted I think it'll be even worse for GF93.

Snijmachine = 80%

Hammer & Sickle vs. The Wall

...what the fuck is there to say? Two of the fastest and most uncontrollable fucking multibots ever entered in CFL leagues against a god damn brick wall.

The Wall = 100% (lock)

Superheavyweights

Phantasmic Slammer vs. Rufus Stone

Phantasmic Slammer is going to kick his ass.

Phantasmic Slammer = 75%

Final Boss vs. Bistre Airwaves

Even if Rob RP'd, it wouldn't do him much good.

Final Boss = 90%

Fulcrum vs. GreenWar

GreenWar's low armour will see him get KO'd from impact damage.

Fulcrum = 80%

Ultima vs. Barracuda

Barracuda's first opponent is something that counters it almost perfectly. :v: One or two trips to the hammers could kill off Barracuda.

Ultima = 75%

Parabolic Trajectory vs. War & Peace

Interesting. PT could get shredded but I think he'll survive long enough for that fatal flip (W&P's srimech looks dubious at best) and grant Alex a sweep to start the season.

Parabolic Trajectory = 80%

Agent X vs. Solar Smash

Wow. Could Chris be any more fucked?

Agent = 90%

Spin Dash Unleashed vs. Corrupted Politician

One flip will nullify that sawblade and give playzooki the match.

Corrupted Politician = 80%

Yellow Cloud vs. Stabstract

Philip can preach about his 4WD static wedge all he wants, but at the end of the day he's not going to get under Lian's own brick. I'm stickin' to that!

Stabstract = 75%

2-2 aint bad, and one of them will probably go either way. I think I have a plan for Klarinette, we'll see if it works (hint: it won't :P)

Just so you know mystic, these aren't the end-all-be-all of the results. You still have to RP :3

This is just for people to post predictions for each week's schedules.

Yeah, and also bare in mind that not all predictions are 100% accurate anyway. Kody has Stabstract beating Yellow Cloud, but it could easily go the other way. You never know :)

1-3. Already I'm beginning to regret this.

But seeing as I got drawn with the Lightweight to beat, an undercutter (And defending Runner-Up, no less.) that's essentially unbeatable with the design I'm using, and the overused and almost totally uninspired flipper that I always lose to in Round One, I've got a snowball's chance in Hell of starting with a positive record. And that's terrible. :/

Meh, I've started plenty of tournaments with poor records.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.
