Ruination: The Omen - Spreads

Post by That Kode Guy » Tue Dec 10, 2013 10:59 am

And with THAT, I'll get my own up:

WEEK 9

Lightweights

Mobile Failure vs. Smoke and Mirrors

Not seeing it.

Smoke and Mirrors = 70%

Old Soul vs. Jupiter 2 F

lolwtf. well it's Cloth...

Jupiter 2 F = 70%

Hit 'em Hardest vs. Mercenary

Wouldn't be easy to predict if Lewis were RPing. Despite that... this goes to Mercenary.

Mercenary = 55%

Mr. Not Very Nice LW vs. Fatality

Thor's hockey puck to win.

Fatality = 70%

Recovered vs. Spike

I dunno, I think Spike can salvage this one. Hell, a KO is likely with that insane weapon-to-armour disparity.

Spike = 80%

Dr. Pepperdine vs. Poison

Well shit. I think Poison could throw him out if Pepperdine doesn't axe the shit out of him first.

Poison = 55%

Don't Tread On Me vs. Tornedron

DToM has to make like a Mercenary here. That's some decent armour but GF can put the hurt on him.

Don't Tread On Me = 70%

Vipoz vs. Scarab

Boo, I wanted a KO. :P *greedy*

Scarab = 95%

Annoying Box Rush vs. Frequency

Oh. My. Dog. I think ABR will get his revenge from the first Ruination.

Annoying Box Rush = 60%

Middleweights

Green Dragon vs. Solve et Coagula

Chris has this around his pinky finger.

Green Dragon = 90%

Force Feedback vs. Jupiter 2 H

Haha, uh, no.

Force Feedback = 95%

Braveheart vs. Reaper

Braveheart? The most Scottish robot? Don't make me bring SteveMcG back here to contest that! :P

Braveheart = 95%

Stingray vs. V For Vendetta

Lewis just might have a vendetta against everyone when he comes back and sees all these FFs. :P

Stingray = 85%

Illusion of Grandeur vs. Fidchell

Neither are great in the drivetrain category. So either IoG will take advantage of Fid's lower armour, or Fid will dump IoG out with the rear wedge. Considering Fid is better controlled, inclined to go with her.

Fidchell = 75%

March or Die vs. Merry Hampton BR

Yeah playzooki should have this. Merry Hampton just doesn't work great inverted.

March or Die = 80%

Lightning vs. The Green Hornet

Now if this were the swatsika Lightning, I'd give Josh more grief. But no way. :P

The Green Hornet = 100% (lock)

Lyra vs. Long Arm of the Law

Lyra just edges this.

Lyra = 51%

Bad Wolf vs. The "No" Patrol

I dunno. "No" Patrol has a lot of weapon, and Bad Wolf has 5 armour and only 1 torque. He loses that front skirt and there goes any chance he has of pushing "No" Patrol out.

The "No" Patrol = 80%

Heavyweights

Jupiter 2 V vs. Mr. Death

A FF win for playzooki and a dominating performance by him otherwise. Too bad Death's eliminated.

Mr. Death = 85%

Master of Puppets vs. NB2

if helloface comes back and replies to that travesty of an RP of yours GF, don't expect sympathy. :P

Master of Puppets = 85%

Kraze vs. Ridley

Man Kraze sucks against spinners this tournament. :( The arena won't matter too too much.

Ridley = 85%

Scoop vs. The Dark Side of Cupid

Scoop would have this if Rooster RP'd... and well. Or maybe not. Who knows?

Scoop = 51%

Cutie Honey vs. Grave Robber

If Grave Robber was a more solidly built spinner I would give this to him. As it is, he's going to give at most a few hits before he kills his own weapon.

Cutie Honey = 75%

Final Judgement vs. Vertigo

Don't look up!

Vertigo = 85%

Anarchy vs. Klarinette

Anarchy is just too slow and pinball-y to gain ground here. Klarinette marches onward.

Klarinette = 85%

V'Ger vs. Snijmachine

Well shit. Both actually have decent armour, but neither are going to be able to get the other out so it'll come down to can actually outdamage who. I feel it being pulled towards V'Ger.

V'Ger = 55%

S.O.T.A.R. vs. Dead Ringer For Love

Yeah I don't see Dead Ringer surviving too long.

S.O.T.A.R. = 75%

Superheavyweights

Ultima vs. Lime-y

Ultima's worse drivetrain to hurt it here. Watch it be flipped around without mercy.

Lime-y = 75%

Steak vs. Inflammatory Slammer

It's painful to see Inf. Slammer get eliminated, but them's the breaks. :(

Inflammatory Slammer = 90%

Phantasmic Slammer vs. Peppernut

Soooo... what matters more? Slammer's better wedge and control, or Peppernut's greater torque and speed? Probably Peppernut's advantages.

Peppernut = 55%

Manta vs. Reflector Shield

Reflector Shield will remove the plow and pwn.

Reflector Shield = 80%

Teresa vs. Jupiter 2 P

Can I substitute Jupiter 2 P for Final Boss? I've been meaning to have a few words with him.

Teresa = 100% (lock)

Spaulding vs. Curse of the Deep

BE CUUUUUURSED!

Curse of the Deep = 85%

Corrupted Politician vs. Jack Frost

Corrupted Politician still has 1 fucking point of torque. If Jack Frost messes that front end up enough, it's light out for playzooki.

Jack Frost = 75%

Hephaestus vs. Lethal Injection

It's Land of Confusion. It'll be a war of attrition that should favor Hephaestus.

Hephaestus = 65%

Reaver vs. Element of Chaos

Reaver to strengthen its already iron grip on a play-off spot.

Reaver = 100% (lock)

LW:

Spike vs. Vipoz - (ARC Arena)

All aboard the pain train!

This would be tough match for the thwacker, but being on Cloth means he

I prefer the stance of willful ignorance much like with Anime or Philip Seymour Hoffman movies. :v:

Talking of wilful ignorance, think we'll be seeing Eggman returning to the LW circuit? :P

Ruination: The Omen - Spreads

Post by That Kode Guy » Mon Dec 16, 2013 11:23 am

well I SUPPOSE I should get some spreads up, aye?

----

WEEK 10

Lightweights

Spike vs. Vipoz

Total destruction.

Spike = 100% (lock)

Hit 'em Hardest vs. Scarab

well HeH is a totally more competent thwackbot than NVN... it's just that Lewis hasn't been RPing. :P At any rate this would be disastrous for Scarab.

Hit 'em Hardest = 90%

Dr. Pepperdine vs. Recovered

Well shit. Pepperdine's only hope is puncturing tires. Good thing he clinched a spot this week.

Recovered = 75%

Mr. Not Very Nice LW vs. Tornedron

The men in white coats to take GF93 away after his blood thirst nearly causes him to attack playzooki himself. And the bots? NVN doesn't stand a chance... okay maybe a miniscule one.

Tornedron = 95%

Mobile Failure vs. Annoying Box Rush

Mobile Failure's gotta be REALLY precise.

Annoying Box Rush = 65%

Mercenary vs. Poison

Ouch. Well there go Josh and Badnik's chances.

Mercenary = 95%

Fatality vs. Don't Tread On Me

Think I'll take Fatality to kill himself.

Don't Tread On Me = 80%

Smoke and Mirrors vs. Jupiter 2 F

Nah.

Smoke & Mirrors = 90%

Frequency vs. Old Soul

Old Soul is uninspiring and so is my prediction:

Frequency = 100% (lock)

Middleweights

Fidchell vs. Jupiter 2 H

The Prophet to climb ever higher.

Fidchell = 100% (lock)

Illusion of Grandeur vs. March or Die

The arena speaks volumes.

March or Die = 65%

Green Dragon vs. The "No" Patrol

Chris will have a difficult time pulling off what he did against The Green Hornet since The "No" Patrol is faster. Factor in the average armour and it's quite possible that Badnik could cause the upset. Now we'll just see if he RPs well. :P

The "No" Patrol = 75%

Reaper vs. Long Arm of the Law

Uhhh... one flip and it's over. Can Reaper get it?

Reaper = 60%

Solve et Coagula vs. Stingray

Stingray has no wedging beyond the forks. It's entirely possible he can entangle the Yellow Alert machine. With greater torque and the arena considered... upset, perhaps?

No, I'm gonna go against myself again, as is customary. :P

Stingray = 60%

Braveheart vs. Lyra

Precedent is with Braveheart. Come on NFX, ride the storm!

Braveheart = 85%

Lightning vs. Force Feedback

*insert witty pun about Lightning here*

Force Feedback = 100% (lock)

Bad Wolf vs. Merry Hampton BR

This is where Bad Wolf gives up his play-off spot. He just can't fight Lian.

Merry Hampton BR = 85%

The Green Hornet vs. V For Vendetta

The arena may speak volumes but so do Green Hornet's monstrous advantages... such as the ability to fuck your opponent up with a big-ass spinning disc.

The Green Hornet = 95%

Heavyweights

V'Ger vs. Cutie Honey

V'Ger's saving grace is the clamps, which KO'd Kraze. Cutie Honey has the speed and control to avoid them. The arena also works in Honey's favour.

Cutie Honey = 75%

Mr. Death vs. Ridley

Norfair is no fair!

Ridley = 95%

Snijmachine vs. Anarchy

Interestingly Anarchy has longer reach, but Snijmachine has better drivetrain and just get in hits after they collide.

Snijmachine = 70%

Scoop vs. Kraze

Kraze for sure.

Kraze = 95%

Dead Ringer For Love vs. Klarinette

Sorry Marti, I like him but Dead Ringer For Love is just too slow and awkward.

Klarinette = 85%

The Dark Side of Cupid vs. Final Judgement

Mr. AS has advantages and he'll want to press them if he wants to survive the play-off race in the Reckoning Conference.

Final Judgement = 55%

NB2 vs. S.O.T.A.R.

See Outrageous Tracy Annihilate Robot.

S.O.T.A.R. = 100% (lock)

Grave Robber vs. Vertigo

Vert would have this if Lewis would RP... actually, maybe not. The armour value is low and they're the same speed...

Vertigo = 51%

Master of Puppets vs. Jupiter 2 V

GF93 can still make it.

Master of Puppets = 95%

Superheavyweights

Hephaestus vs. Element of Chaos

I'm writing this fight so you already know the outcome, kthxbye.

Hephaestus = over 9000% (lock)

Jupiter 2 P vs. Lethal Injection

It's up to Lime-y in Week 11 to stop GF93's monster streak. Because Jupiter here sure as hell isn't fucking doing it.

Lethal Injection = 100% (lock)

Reflector Shield vs. Ultima

No.

Reflector Shield = 99%

Inflammatory Slammer vs. Peppernut

Would been fun. :(

Peppernut = 60%

Steak vs. Teresa

I thought nuns were vegetarian?

Teresa = 95%

Jack Frost vs. Manta

The match will probably play out like Hephaestus vs. Manta. Frost has slightly less armour than Heph, but I don't think it'll matter much.

Jack Frost = 60%

Curse of the Deep vs. Corrupted Politician

Can playzooki hold on for the push-out? Or will the laws of physics rear their ugly heads again as Curse of the Deep manages to trash him? Place your odds, folks!

Corrupted Politician = 60%

Lime-y vs. Spaulding - (Casino Night Zone)

Spaulding is going to get in MAJOR trouble if one of the tracks is flipped. Lime-y to go on a flip fest and clinch this week.

Lime-y = 75%

Phantasmic Slammer vs. Reaver

Reaver might have this but he'll have to make sure his forks don't get too damaged or his ability to get under Phantasmic Slammer goes to the dogs.

Reaver = 55%

Looks like another 3-1 on the cards. Very good, but I'd love to see Lyra maybe win one more fight in these last two weeks, if that's alright.
