It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

There always seems to be one weak link in my team. I thought Scatterbrain would do a little better since I beefed up the armour (he got KO'd by spinners a lot in FRR5), but that appears to have been the wrong thing to do. Still, 3rd place is pretty good, I'm hoping Pursuit and Ganymede can get themselves back in contention.

I'd like to kindly mention Anarchy, from RW Series 6.

Definitely one of the best walkers I've seen- very speedy for a robot of its type, made it to the Heat Final where it took Tornado to beat it on a Judges' decision, and won the Best Engineering Award.

Now, Fourth? That's a definite improvement- if I can beat Kody this week, maybe that'll put me on top for this week. :P

Happy at my climb up the rankings also, TSA 2 really saved himself, but he has to hope Mercenary FF's or he's done for.

Crap, how did I forget Anarchy?

Isn't it considered a shuffler now anyway?

Lian, he might be done for anyway, you'd have to win all of your upcoming fights to even break even, and 4-4 might not be enough...

Nope, it had eight independent legs under the polycarbonate.

Which had rotation in the drivetrain. So it's a shuffler.

What about Pressure Drop? Wasn't that considered a walker?

I think as long as no part that touches the floor moves 360 degrees relative to what it's connected to it's a walker. For instance the tips of Pressure Drop's feet only moved back and forth. Then a second set of actuators pulled them in and pushed them out. So it was a true walker.

There can be internal parts that rotate, and the aggregate of all the working parts has to form some kind of rotation to work. Walkers can have motors that run them, and the armiture in the motors is spinning, but that doesn't count. Gammatron would be considered a shuffler since its cage was essentially 1 shuffling foot.

On MDU, just like Pressure Drop, the tips of the feet only move up and down. Then the feet are on 'legs' that move back and forth. No individual piece rotates but the combined effect of the two actions causes the tips of the feet to rotate in space. So it is a true walker as well.

I don't know the walker rules for Battlebots after season 3 are kind of arcane. I never saw a good, official explanation of them. I'm really just guessing, but I do remember Gammatron being considered a shuffler under the rules.

So basically if it can turn, it's not a walker?
