what yall been up to since the end of the last tournament?

sorry for disappearing like that; no real excuse from myself just the standard loss of interest/burn out. still love yall though.

been pretty busy myself. i went to paris (i think this is back in like march), and then wimbledon in june. after that i fly back to america, and spent the 4th in southern maryland before moving into my actual house up in bethlehem, pa. yeah i'm a resident of pa again.

attended a bit of tennis camp that takes place at lehigh (so i could just commute from my house) and basically been drinking / sleeping / relaxing so far this summer.

what about the rest of you.

I've mostly been focusing on university work up until around May, then not much until I went to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix (camped out at the exit of Stowe from around 7am). Got back and found out I had to resit some stuff, then studied for that, and I've just finished resitting them. Aside from that I've been mostly around the house doing random stuff where my relative tallness comes into play.

Sorry for the lack of activity from me as well. I've been doing just about everything. What'd yall say if we re-register the advancedrobotcombat.com domain name? I have a new layout I can give a preview of sometime tomorrow hopefully. I can actually update it a lot more now that I have dreamweaver and not the crappy default bravenet web editing tools.

Oh yeah.

I was going to mention this a few days ago, but I got sidetracked by some other things: I'm also looking to host a new tournament, not under the ARC name (ironically), but under the FRR name. Why the FRR name you ask? Well because it has some name recognition and then I don't go against the retiring of the ARC tournaments. It wouldn't be under FRR rules partly because they were more broken then everyone says the ARC rules are broken, and also because I don't really remember how they work anyway lol.

I'd plan on the rules being fairly similar to the ARC system, but there will be some tweaking here and there. Depending on level of interest I'll probably need some staff assistance. Chris has said he might be able to pick up some results, but staff help is always welcome.

And when I say interest, I'm more referring to solid commitment. Not "oh that'd be nice", but more "Yeah I'm itching for another tournament, I'll fuckin' BE THERE".

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.
