All right everybody it's time for a new tournament. We're going to try a few new rules out so be sure to read them carefully as there are some significant changes.
The full set of rules can be found on the main site under the Tournaments section.
SIGN-UP INFORMATION
- Everyone enters a total of four bots, one from each weight class (Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, Superheavyweight) and assigns them stats using 30 points per bot. Points will be divvied up by 6 categories:
-Speed
-Traction
-Torque
-Wedge Effectiveness
-Armor
-Weapon Power
Note: Armor and Wedge Effectiveness may not exceed 16 points combined.
- The battles will take place in a Round Robin style (as opposed to the traditional tournament style) in which each bot will face every other bot once with playoffs afterward to determine the champion of each weight class. The playoffs will consists of the top 4 bots in each weight class. The #1 seed will fight the #4 seed and #2 will fight #3.
- No double entering the competition (which means no smurf accounts or anything like that).
STAT SYSTEM
As previously stated, the point system will be the same as the past three tournaments with 30 points being divided up between Speed, Traction, Torque, Wedge Effectiveness, Armor and Weapon.
Speed: This stat affects how fast your bot moves around. For thwack bots, including Y-drives, however this acts as your actual spinning speed while thwacking.
Weapon: This stat affects how powerful your bots weapon is. If this stat is higher than your armor, then it is also reflective of your bots weapon armor. For thwack bots, including Y-drives, this stat indicates the bots actual floor maneuvering speed, while your bot is spinning.
Torque: This stat is reflective of how pushy your bot is. The higher it is, the more leverage you

TEAM ZLAYERZ
LW: Scarab (II)
Angled tracked machine with a wide base in-between the track pods that provides massive stability and maneouvrability. This helps the returning egg-beater, much more powerful than before, keep in check. Said beater now has a spiked axle making it difficult to grab. Scarab is also much better armoured too. The panel on top tips over (quickly) and is NOT used as a weapon, only for self-righting. Very small front wedges (which aren't effective for wedging :P) that flank the beater complete the stability package.
Speed: 4
Weapon: 15
Torque: 1
Traction: 3
Wedge: 0
Armour: 7
MW: Jinx II
Drastically altered, and yet not, Jinx II is a 2WD low scoop wedge with lifter and axe combo. Sides are angled to prevent strandings. Rear has 4 hinged wedges to get underneath other robots with ease. The lifter has extensions as pictured, but can be taken off if needed. The axe is run off a rack-and-pinion mechanism and sports an axe-head akin to Killerhurtz, to maximize damage. Can even pin an opponent with the axe and move them to a hazard ala Complete Control.
Speed: 5
Weapon: 9
Torque: 3
Traction: 4
Wedge: 4
Armour: 5
HW: Killobite (Sigma)
2WD pentagonal box-wedge with crusher/lifter combo. Can self-right using the wings on the sides of the crushing beak, ala Razer, but unlike Razer they are electrically powered, so srimeching is easier and faster.
Speed: 6
Weapon: 6
Torque: 1
Traction: 5
Wedge: 4
Armour: 8
SHW: Industrial Bastardization
Been wanting to use this name for a while, and so it lands...on a thwackbot! Basically a dumb thwack...and yep, that's it. Has a whopping 10cm ground clearance for easy driving over other robots, can turn and slam its arm into the opponent with ease. Quite well armoured too. Also has two rear half-cylinders to prevent getting stuck on its ass.

LW: Pyrite
Dumb thwack with some sweet pushing power. No wedges to capitalize on speed and weaponry. Thwack, according to stats can move at 300 RPM and has an extra 5% knockout chance which is already very high due to the 9 theoretical weapon power and high spinup speed. Beware.

No, I didn't steal the name from Lewis' bot, PS is an old robot I drew and thought it would work well here. The name and designs are so close it's uncanny. 6WD biohazard style flipper that can run inverted if need be. 2 front hinged "teeth" to get under stuff. Also based off the fact on how well the Bomb is doing in ARC vs GTM. Also a technical "sequel" of Swift Darkness. For reference, the whole front of the bot is the flipper to capitalize on the weapon armor stat. Blah.

"No-one said destruction can't be fun!"
LW - Scatterbrain
Speed: 9
Weapon: 4
Torque: 1
Traction: 8
Wedge: 0
Armour: 8
Non Compos Mentis thwackbot gets a full redesign, now with a lower profile and new Melty Brain technology to enable translational drift, something which the previous version lacked. Claw Hammer weapons also act as wheelguards, and are more sturdily mounted this time around. Green arm is "Forward", to all intents and purposes, and the robot is fully invertible with no change in functionality. Weapon stat determines the translational speed across the arena floor while spinning.
MW - Freezerburn
Speed: 4
Weapon: 11
Torque: 2
Traction: 4
Wedge: 3
Armour: 6 (+1 front wedge & flag, -1 everywhere else)
Fairly simple principles build this one. A 4WD polycarbonate box featuring hinged wedges on the sides and rear, a funky LED strip on the front wedge, a static flag for self-righting purposes, and three a spinning claw hammers to obliterate any machines that look at it a bit funny. Insert your own "cold-hearted" pun here.
HW - Kraze 3
Speed: 5
Weapon: 6
Torque: 3
Traction: 4
Wedge: 6
Armour: 6
The trippy flipper returns, looking to improve after making the playoffs in ARC Armageddon. Featuring a flipper running on compressed air, and a suction fan underneath to deliver zero ground clearance, and also supplement the compressed air tanks, giving a theoretically infinite number of flips. Any excess air or exhaust gas is vented through the tips of the horns, just for fun. Also has cambered 2WD for extra stability, a suspension system which can raise the ground clearance by up to 5cm if needs be,hinged front and rear wedges, and an LED name on either side, which lights up in over 4,000 colours with a strobe feature. Self-righting.
SHW - Agent X
Speed: 5
Weapon: 2
Torque: 3
Traction: 4
Wedge: 7
Armour: 9 (+1 Plow, -1 Everywhere Else)
Invertible 2WD combined wedge and plow, with an electric BattleRat-style weapon thing with 360 degrees of motion. Plow is attached with sturdy rubber bushings for excellent impact absorption. Also fully invertible and such.
Power: Classified
Origin: Classified
Strengths: Classified
Weaknesses: Classified
Directives: Incapacitate any and all opposition.

Team Blood Gulch
LW: Dr. Robotnik
A two-wheeled undercutter bar-spinner that can function as an overcutter when upside-down. Spikes on the side and rounded backside help prevent getting high-centered.
Speed: 6
Weapon: 12
Torque: 1
Traction: 5
Wedge Effectiveness: 0
Armor: 6
MW: King Dedede
A powerful, low to the ground, 4-wheeled hammerbot with hinged skirting in the front and on the sides. A segmented "Team Blood Gulch" plow on the back which features the usual spikes inside. The hammer swings both directions and can be used to help self-right, though it can drive around inverted.
Speed: 5
Weapon: 10
Torque: 2
Traction: 4
Wedge Effectiveness: 3
Armor: 6
HW: King K. Rool
Large and in charge, King K. Rool features a moving tread system in his front jaws on top and on bottom. As noted, the treads move inward (toward the main body). They serve the purpose of keeping bots inside the jaws and to cause small bits of damage. He features a "Team Blood Gulch" plow on the back, cause I'm lame like that, and side spikes to prevent getting high centered. The top and bottom views are merely to show color differences, it works the same either way.

LIGHTWEIGHT
JANUS! I adored my previous LW clusterbot, and now I'm hoping to do better with this new one. A pair of invertible 2WD wedges whose wheels are placed as far to the back as possible to let as much mass as possible rest on the tip of the wedge. For the purpose of versatility the machines have different weapons, a front-hinged and rear-hinged flipper respectively, both invertible, both powered by electric motors. The basic idea is to compensate the weaknesses that come with clusterbots by the simple fact that there are bloody 2 of them. Sure I could invest less points in speed than I wanted, but I can come at you with 2 machines instead of 1, try dodging both!
MIDDLEWEIGHT
BAD WOLF! Invertible machine with invertible skirts. Main weapon is a low to the ground horizontal disc that hits things hard and low. A potential problem for horizontal spinners is the feedback of the hit knocking the robot away, the 6 wheels driving the machine combined with the decent traction stat aim to keep this to a minimum. If we add up this this set-up plus the fact the skirts can be used not only defensively but also offensively, one might find that Bad Wolf makes a decent wedgebot too. The height of this machine is kept to a minimum, 8 cm max, which makes sure that the disc will still hit plenty of stuff when inverted, but due to the resulting low centre of gravity the control is also enhanced, and last but not least this also makes Bad Wolf harder to topple for flippers and lifters (which will have troubles anyway with either the skirts or the low disc).
HEAVYWEIGHT
ATILLA! This is the deal; lots of drum. And not only at the front. The rear wedges are sloped outwards because this robot isn't designed to wedge, it is designed to let opponents in and drum them! The rear wedges, however, make for a nice backup plan. As much mass as possible has been centered towards the point of the wedge, so that the robot will in fact rest on this wedge and not on the bars in front of the wheels, the robot is not supposed to rest on them whatsoever, they are merely there to prevent the drum from crashing into the ground should that danger arise. The 2 wheel pods are rigidly connected inside the drum with the motor of the drum inside the drum itself, spinning it around similar to a ring spinner.
SUPERHEAVYWEIGHT
PEPPERNUT! Invertible rambot with rear and front invertible wedge, both removable if I desire so. The front is more than a wedge though, it's also a spike! Or basically 2 spikes since when the machine is inverted the wedge will flip over and reveal another previously hidden spike, as can be seen in the side view. I feel like impaling things.

"Cutting opponents into small, cold cubes for our drinks"
After much preparation, my Four Horsemen of the Abotcalypse are ready for action! A special bow goes to NFX for his epic CADs of my robots-
Lightweight- War Bastard
Speed- 5
Torque- 1
Weapon- 10 (Flywheel with heavy Cutting Blades)
Traction- 7
Wedge- 0
Armour- 7
"Fear is not known to this new creation from ICR, instead replaced with one instinct- to annihilate any lightweight with the reckless bravado to challenge it.
Armed with a powerful electric-driven flywheel with heavy cutting blades and complimented with remarkable speed, armour and traction for its design in order to deliver precise, yet devastating attacks, once this war machine's got you in its sights, there's no escaping its fury"
Middleweight- Dreadnought
Speed- 6
Torque- 1
Weapon- 4 (Low-pressure Front-hinged Flipper and 50cm-long Pneumatic Spike)
Traction- 5
Wedge- 7
Armour-7
"A stealth bomber-lookalike, Dreadnought features a powerful Front-hinged Flipper that can self-right it when flipped and throw opponents around with surprising power for its size, and a 50cm-long rear Pneumatic Spike.
Running on a low, aerodynamic wedge profile and two-wheel drive system, allowing it to manouver quickly and get under almost anything, it's a sleek, mean and powerful machine that is capable of taking and inflicting serious punishment"
Heavyweight- Bulletproof Bomb
Speed- 6 (With high acceleration)
Torque- 5
Weapon- 1 (Four-bar Lifting Arm with Ramming Blades and Reinforced Front Scoop)
Traction- 6
Wedge- 5
Armour- 7 (+2 for the Scoop)
"With the strength and sheer explosive power of its namesake, the Runner-up from ARC vs GTM has come to play. Alongside its electric-driven, four-bar Lifting Arm and Ramming Blades to flip and carve opponents, it's got high speed, sturdy construction, and its awesome ramming strength to crush almost any opponent that stands in its way.
Bulletproof Bomb is back, and this time it's personal"
Super Heavyweight- Lethal Injection
Speed-6
Torque- 4
Weapon- 1 (Bi-rotational Electric Lifting Spikes and hinged rear Wedge)
Traction- 6
Wedge- 6
Armour- 7 (+1 for the Rear Wedge)
"A new and deadly strain of robot death has infected the SHW division, in the form of ICR's four wheel-drive speed machine.
Built with manouverability, resiliance and spinner-toppling capabilities in mind, Lethal Injection sets out to do just that with its powerful Electric Lifting Spikes.
With truly effective inverted running capabilities in both its drive and weaponry, sturdy construction all-round and the sheer wedgability to flip, impale and drag even the toughest foes, this one should give the championship a real shot in the arm"
