What CAD programs do people use?

Speak freely but don't be stupid about it or you'll find yourself on the last train to Clarksville, ya dumbass.

the three major camps seem to be:

Rhino (Kodebreaker, Badnik, NFX and a few others)
Google Sketch Up (Me, HotDeals, NoisyGiraffe and a few others)
TinkerCAD (Monsterworks, Toxic, Madman and a few others)

Sketch Up and TinkerCAD are free, Rhino I think can be depending on how legal you feel like being. Rhino is the hardest to learn but is probably the most in-depth one once you get good at it. TinkerCAD seems to be the most limited program, especially in terms of skins and scenery

Bots that I think are better than my actual champions: Chimera // Venice Queen // Cuddle Time!

I personally use Autodesk Inventor, although I had a college program or two to learn how to use it

Autodesk Maya for 3D models, and Paint.net for my 2D drawings.

Yeah, I use TinkerCAD, along with Madman, Toxic, Wolf51-50, and a few other newer builders. It really is a very limited program and I've gotten pretty much all that I can out of it. I tried to get Rhino free and legally, but wasn't able to, so I've downloaded SketchUp and will probably be using that once I take the time to learn it (realistically over the Christmas Holidays).

I use Blender for all of my 3D stuff. It's free, but there's a bit of a learning curve. Youtube tutorials are fantastic :P
