Okay, so Kody has been hounding me on Facebook to start a thread about this. I know a lot of you are not American, and some of you may be too young to vote. Still, I've been asked to start this thread, and I'm gonna do this.

I hate everybody running right now. Well, almost everybody. The only one I don't hate yet is Bernie Sanders. But if this were golf, he'd have a half-course handicap. He's got so much ground to make up. Supposedly, his popularity's growing, so there's hope. I really hope he can pull it off. According to one of those internet surveys, Sanders is the candidate I line up with the most closely. Like I said though, he's going up against the big fish in the tank.

Which brings us to her. I still distrust her immensely. She now has a "Chillary" drink koozie? Seriously? This is her ploy to sway the Deep South: sell things to put your beer in. I dunno. On the one hand, it's a better way to raise campaign money than blowing the Koch brothers, but still, it just adds another layer of her "anything to get elected" shit that ultimately sums her up.

Now, you can say that every candidate wants the title of President, and wants their name in the history books, but in my opinion, this is literally the only driving force for her. She wants to be the first woman President of the USA. Nothing else matters. If Condoleeza Rice, Nancy Pelosi, Sarah Palin, or any other woman got there before her, she'd give up. All that matters to her is that historical distinction. Nothing else. And if she gets it, then fuck America. She got what she wanted. Maybe she'd put in a little effort, so she wouldn't go down as a complete tragedy, but she will gladly settle for mediocre. She doesn't care about her country, just her legacy. A politician who exerts more effort towards building a positive legacy than towards leading their country invariably accomplishes neither.

Which brings us to the Republican jamboree. I haven't see this many white men try to set themselves apart from and above the others since I got too old to watch MTV Spring Break. And with the possible exception of either of the Pauls, not a decent option among them. Not that that will stop them, but they must think that we the people have a limited supply of sick-of-your-shit, and if that with enough candidates, it'll spread too thin and we'll end up having to like one or some of them. Not happening any time soon.

Most disturbing of all right now is that apparently "You're Fired" McHairpiece is the second leading candidate among the Republicans. Seriously? That man is pure fucking evil. The only thing I like about him is how hot his daughter is. Not that I'm her type anyway, but I digress. He is the absolute worst candidate, period. If he gets the nomination, I will vote for the former first lady, and actually refer to her by name again. That's how much I hate the thought of him in the Oval Office. He's already been dropped by NBC and Univision because of his anti-immigrant statements. I can only hope every other channel follows suit, fuck the Equal Access Rule.

So those are some preliminary thoughts on the impending fucknuttery. You're welcome Kody.

Voting for Sanders, may even donate. Yeah... he's.. probably not going to win. It's extremely far-fetched. Once the democrats still holding out for Warren finally come to terms with the fact that she's not entering, they might consolidate behind Sanders but I don't think that's enough. The Biden holdouts would also have to fling themselves toward Sanders and I think they'd be just as likely to go for Clinton second.

As for the Republicans, how are they gonna do debates with so many candidates?

Nick, the herd will thin itself out in time. It always does. It always has. Massimo, the youngest voters are historically always the lowest turnout. Also, a promise that will never happen. Josh, with Trump, it's all a blur. He's just pure fucking evil. It's not even this latest hubbub that makes he hate him as a candidate so much.

Kody, I was promised donuts to start this thread. Peanut crunches from Timmy's no less. I am bereft of my peanut crunch. Hungry, not happy.

Seriously, you cannot find peanut crunches out here on the West Coast, not even in the BC Timmy's. Fucking hippies whining too much about peanut allergies. I don't want anyone to die, but I do fricken want my peanut crunch donut. When I used to work for a Timmy's back in MI, I would often suggest them for people who were having a rough start in the morning. The fat and protein in peanuts.... I think that's good for the brain in the morning. It helped me out pretty well.

I miss peanut crunches. Recently, I ordered five dozen donuts for work because we were looking at splitting two routes again, and morale was so low that we were turning on each other. So, when I placed the order, I said, "I want one dozen peanut coated." I even explained how to make them: freshly baked but completely cooled cake donut, glaze it, but instead of hanging it to dry, immerse it in a tub full of chopped peanuts, let them sit. I wanted a dozen out of the five to be peanuts. The people in the bakery the afternoon I placed the order promised they could do this. They even called me to confirm that this was possible. I get there to pick up the order the next morning.... the people working said they could not do it. They don't have peanuts in their bakery, they don't touch them because of allergens, the people working the night before should never have promised me that..... I was so pissed, I almost canceled. But we needed a morale boost at work so badly, that I just took them anyway. They gave me a dozen free for the inconvenience, but that still didn't make my mouth and tummy happy.

And you know that with another Democrat president, the hippies that are their voting base will see to it I have never have a sweet, sweet, crunchy bite of that brain food again. Fucking hippies. The Democrats must be stopped, dammit.

What the hell kind of bakery doesn't have any peanuts anyway? Do they not even offer anything with peanut butter?

Apparently not! When I placed the order, one of the bakers said, "We got all the raw ingredients, we should be able to do this." They called their manager to make sure they could do it! And it's a bakery department of a supermarket! That's the dumbest part! I should've bought several jars of Planters, handed them to the bakers and said, "Here, use these." Fucking numbnuts.

Further proof the hippies are winning.... I can't find Ben And Jerry's What A Cluster flavor anymore out here! It's a peanut butter flavor ice cream, and one of my top ten favorite flavors of all! So pissed. It really won't be long until the Jif is gone from our stores.

I'm crying. The recent Trump antics are almost pure slapstick. He's shooting himself in the foot and he knows it. Then again, maybe he's just doing this for attention since he knows he'll never get elected.
