How many people here have heard of Torrent Network. I'm sure some of you have and if not, here is a short description.

Imagine Limewire or Morpheus or Bearshare or Kazza or any other P2P network you can think of and take away spam, ads, viruses, and other problems associated with P2P networks and you have a torrent network. Here are some perks.

1. You can download entire albums at once instead of searching for individual songs.

2. You can find many programs on there.

3. You can find many games on there.

I have used P2P networks and I have used Torrents and Torrents is by far the best I have ever used. If you want to know more, just ask.

Yeah, I've been using torrents for about three years now. I use Bitlord Version 1.1 to download them, and I visit mininova.org as my primary source of torrents. If they don't have it, I try iso-hunt.com, and if not there either, I try torrentspy.com.

Ok, I just downloaded uTorrent and I'm using it to download Casino Royal. At this rate it will have me...1 week on dial-up. Ugh, for 1.3GB, the quality better be fucking awesome.

My main place is Isohunt. I have been using these for about a year now. This is how I get to play the Battlebot games because I downloaded the GBA Emulator and found the roms for the games.

Edit: Minion, how many Seeds and Leeches did your download have?

What do you mean by "Battlebot games"? Robot Arena 2, or an actual Battlebots game?

it had 150 seeds and 254 leechers. Seeds are hosts I take it? And leechers are people who you can't download from free-loaders)? I'm not quite familiar with all the lingo. How do I set mine so people can't download off my feeble dial-up? I'm uploading as much as I'm downloading...

Well I don't know how uTorrent works, but with BitLord, I would set my preferences so the amount of data that I allow to upload is 0.

Seeds: Hosts who have the complete torrent, with all files included
Leechers: Hosts who do not have the complete torrent, missing at least one file.

There are some torrents which have 0 seeds but do have some leechers.

Its the games for Gameboy Advanced (Design and Destroy) It is an actual battlebot game. I also have a Robot Wars one. I play them using an Emulator program that allows me to play any NES, SNES, 64, or Gameboy game I want for free. I get them all from Torrents. Right now, I am trying to get some from other systems.

If you want them, I can put them on Mediafire and you could download them from there.

I have really never messed with blocking the Leechers because they are people who are trying to download the file too and when you cancel in the middle of their download, it can mess it up.

Ok, I know what emulators are, my cousin has a few for NES and SNES games he has. The controls are always weird though..

I found out the version of Casino Royal I was DL'ing was in spanish! So I found an english one, which was much smaller, so that should be done...eventually.

Does anyone have any other torrent sources? All three of my sites don't have an album I'm looking for. I'm looking for an album called Bagged And Boarded, by the band Goblin Cock.

Well, Goblin Cock is still under an independent label, and those bands tend to take longer to show up on the internets.

I'm gonna give that list a shot.

And yes, the album cover is quite awesome. Ever seen the video for Stumped?

EDIT: I just went down half of the music sites and didn't turn up anything. Looks like I'll have to actually pay for the album. What is this, the Middle Ages?
