Sorry I haven't been as active here lately. I've just been very sick. Just got diagnosed with diabetes and have to take insulin/blood tests every single fucking day. Although, I'd still like to run a tournament again, as long as someone else carries the major responsibilities. I know John is going to start FF again soon (I think) so that's good, too. I was also thinking we could do a few smaller poll tournaments soon (like maybe a pure CAD poll tournament, maybe resurrect the BB style one). In any event, hopefully we can get the next ARC up and ready again soon.

Currently my time frame is very constraining. We're preparing to come home to Germany around mid October, then I'll be on leave through Christmas and New Years. Expect to either start FF in January or to have a two week break if I start early.

Just to ask, do you have type 1, or type 2?

That sucks man. My whole family has diabetes but I work out like a freak so I've managed to keep it at bay. I occasionally have short periods of Hypoglycemia but that's it.

It's type 1, which means it's more of a genetic thing, where my body isn't producing enough insulin. It's really irritating and depressing getting used to the lifestyle change, but I'll get used to it soon enough.

Well be glad it isn't type 2, otherwise you'd have a lot of trouble on your hands.
And for anyone that doesn't know:
Type 1: Pancreas produces reduced amount of insulin.
Type 2: Pancreas stops producing insulin.
