Battlebot Fights

Speak freely but don't be stupid about it or you'll find yourself on the last train to Clarksville, ya dumbass.

Nah, I can see how it was Bio's fight. Overkill lost way too much time getting stuck on the spike rack. That's a loss of strategy points.

Spatula

Nov 18 2006, 09:28 AM

Not a good year for spinners, that one. First season without any spinners winning the finals. Only one even made it to the finals.

I never got around to seeing the Overkill/Warhead fight.

Overkill doesn't get enough love. :( [/quote]
Dr. Inferno had spinning blades (which are my 12 pounder's weapon), so technically there was a spinner that won ;)

Although WoD definatly got robbed of his crown.

Dr Inferno's blades are cosmetic. It wins because it's a low, well-armored wedge. It's also one of those robots that rubs me the wrong way. It keeps winning close fights that kinda feel like they should've gone the other way.

Actually, Dr. Inferno wins because Jason is the best driver that this sport has ever seen.

I love you guys. Pardon me as I go cry thinking of memories past. And Jason was an all around great driver, one of my robot idols.

Bumping this thread, it seems pointless just to create a new thread for a single video.

I keep watching this fight over and over and I just don't know why.

Someone re-uploaded Vlad vs Biohazard 1999. One of my favorite fights.

Season 4 Overkill vs Biohazard still hasn't been uploaded. I loved that fight. :/

Heh... another interesting one... Jason Bardis put up the raw footage of Season 3 Dr Inferno vs Gamma Raptor. Apparently the whole crowd was cheering for Gamma Raptor, and boo'ed after the judges gave it to the doc.

Damn- Vladiator must be about 150kg, and Toro was still sending it barrelling into the air like nothing :P

Last Rites has just become my favourite spinner.
