Flamberge and other ideas

For a while now I've been trying to find some way to get building my UK-antweight bar spinner Flamberge. It might look something like this:
once it's done. It's basically an inverted box wedge with a bar on top, similar to Surgeon General. So far, however, the only parts for it I've got are some 10mm 100:1 Planetary gearmotors from Precision MicroDrives and a 11.1v LiPo battery, but I'm not sure for armour; dunno if I should go for an aluminum alloy, or a plastic like polypropylene or HDPE, or even some titanium if I can fit it on. Titanium will be used for the blade, though. Any tips would be appreciated.
Also, I'm thinking for going for US-antweight (454g, IIRC) axlebot with either a horizontal or vertical crusher. Any tips there?
