"If I take that off, will you die?"

"It will be extremely painful."

"You're a big guy."

"UUUU."

Image

Another non tinkerCAD bot, but if i made it in tinkerCAD, the fire wouldn't rise, and then, as a hired gun, my amount of loyalty, which can only be described as "alot", would falter, and collapse.

Let the games begin, because here is UUUU! He is a big guy, has 4WD, a lowdown shape, and a 4-bar flipper.

We were better off alone...

Here is Calvin, something for Shaba and their team. They wanted to make a bot inspired by Calvin from the recent movie LIFE, which I saw around a week or so ago, I suggested it to them--and they enjoyed it.

Calvin is a grabber/crusher/lifter similar to Overhaul from ABC's Battlebots.

Also, speaking of Overhaul-inspired bots...

Here, have this redesign of Arcade Queen, now with all-around wedges! :v:

Triplepost, but here's my MW and HW for CBC2.

Image

Image

First off, here is The Attourney, my MW entry, inspired by Team Velocity's K2 (a dope ass LW), the spinning drums are powered by the same weapon motor. Wedge is angled to catch horizontal spinners at an odd angle.

Next up is Uranium-235, my HW entry. It's a big ol' lowdown drumbot that is invertible, doesn't have feeder wedges, I know you'll probably say "why dude, why?", but it's because Uranium-235's drum is designed to send it's opponent's flying into the air upon contact with the drum, and feeder wedges might cancel it out. Correct me if i'm wrong here, though.

I keep on posting crazy shit but I don't get any comments.

Oh well!

Space Dementia

Image

Image

I was inspired by Stinger from Robot Wars and Infernal Contraption.

This shit's insane, to quote Wolf 51-50 on the ARC Discord "it looks like S3, The Master, and Blade Runner had a robobaby".

Probably for stats, probably going to go with:

Speed: 6
Traction: 5
Torque: 1
Weapon: 13
Armor: 5

Thwacking tail/wedge is primarily used as a keep-away device as the huge spinning flywheel gets up to speed. Fully invertible, thwacking tail is on a 180-degree hinge, the wheels are domed to house electronics--and to prevent stranding.

Probably going to be my LW for CBC2.

Space Dementia looks pretty mad there, but in a good way. Although an HS is probably going to eat it alive, unfortunately, with its narrow weapon and low Armour. A control spinner stat spread would probably work better with this design, but it should be a fun entry regardless.

On the subject of Uranium, though, feeder wedges would help get underneath opponents and give the drum a bit more bite to throw them up. As it stands, you'll probably bounce off a tough wedge as your opponent gets under the drum unhindered. Some removeable feeder wedges would give you a choice, depending on who you're facing that week.

The rest of your machines are broadly similar: very low 4WD boxes with wedges on the front and a weapon of some kind. It's difficult to give commentary on that sort of thing.

Redid Calvin's design somewhat.

It now has visible wheels, and lexan paneling to see it's innards! Also to distinguish it more from Arcade Queen.

And you have outdone yourself yet again, Sylandro!

Calvin looks like it will have a place in my CBC2 lineup, that's for sure!

And I thought my robots had a high amount of wedge to body ratio :V

Doubleposting, but i had Billy Idol, and Christain Carlberg's new MW, Rampage, on the mind while making this.

Image

Here's Rebel Yell, a middleweight torque reaction hammer/vertical thwack with a obnoxious punk paintjob, and it'll be replacing The Attourney in my CBC2 lineup. Works exactly like Toe Crusher/Rampage/Overkill.

Looks like a pretty solid Overclone, should hold up pretty well. Nice work. =)

Deciding to swap out Rebel Yell for something abit more.. Familiar.

Here is Trojan Horse 2.0, vastly different from the original. I'm ditching the interchangeable weapons for a pair of Lockjaw/Diesector Jaws. Trojan Horse 2.0's jaws can clamp and lift, or lift/flip with the jaws closed. The wedges on the wheel pods are hinged, so they can stay on the ground when the wheel pods move.

For example:

Now, here's Trojan Horse 2.0 looks like with it's jaws open:

I have to say--i'm quite proud of this!
