That looks awesome, great touch with the lexan acting as the srimech. If anything, the extra manouverability of 4WD should make it better in combat than Vertigo 2.

Possible entry for Showbots, a horizontal spinner named Atom. All electronics are inside the wheels and the weapon's electronics are attached to the axle, meaning they are protected when the blade is spinning. The blade is asymmetrical but balanced and has 2 teeth on one end and 1 on the other, all at different heights for maximum coverage.

Possible Stats - Speed: 6 | Weapon: 13 | Armour: 7 (+1 to each wheel) | Traction: 2 | Torque: 2

You should definitely enter this... I would not suggest giving any armor bonus

Oh snap! That machine looks really brutal. I wouldn't want to see that in my back garden.

Also I just realized that it looks to me like the blade would hit the body when it spins, though my mind could be playing tricks on me

Definitely looks like a fun design, though, nice work =)

Yeah the axle is towards the front to give the blade a bit more reach and it clears the sides by about 20mm. The front rests on the red frame and the side panels so the blade doesn't hit the ground as well.

The bite-size Razer clone returns with some improvements after reaching the quarter-finals of the Sportsman class of Bot-O-Rama. Killjoy's main improvements are a redesigned chassis and shell, made wider and sloped shallower to make it easier to deflect hits and allow the beak to get under it's opponents. The shell is also mounted on shock absorbers to take hits better as well. The internals have had to be redesigned as well with the front wheels moved closer together to allow for quicker turning and all four wheels and the chassis-hinge system has been raised to lower the ground clearance at the sides and rear while more importantly still having zero ground clearance at the front. The beak has also changed slightly with the flamethrower being dropped to save weight and the hook being increased in size by 50%. Now I should get back to building something that is actually going to be entering a tournament soon.

Interesting! Reminds me a lot of a cross between Razer and Dominator 2.

Hellfire returns with some improvements since it's debut in Reddit's Extinction, where it won 3 matches and reached the play-off melees. The most important upgrade are a set of back wheels that push the front into the ground and makes it harder for opponents to negate the flipper. The lexan armour has been remodelled to deflect hit from spinners and to give the flipper a wider angle of attack. An optional spatula tongue has also been added so we can flip spinners without having to go too near them and have them ruin the new paint job.

Speed: 6 | Weapon: 8 (7/1 for back wheels) | Armour: 10 | Traction: 4 | Torque: 2
