Yeah, I haven't really thought of what to put in the opening post...

I am Latvian Gambit!

I offer a black pawn, like a true Latvian Gambit would!

Check out my main line!
Image
Fully invertible tracked 4-bar lifter, with the 2 bars that are attached to the main body mounted besides the main lifting bar and not underneath it like with conventional 4-bar lifters. U-shaped main body to provide space for aforementioned invertibility.
Image
Optional rear skirt because I was in the mood.

Sweet. Always nice to see more tracked machines around here, and this one looks particularly good. I would suggest extending the Scoop over the front corners for additional protection (Ala Zombie Killer's rear plough.), but other than that, I like the design a lot.

Now that's a very interesting design! So would the lifter work when it was inverted as well, and all the linkages would be in parallel when it wasn't raised? If so, that's a very clever idea and you receive my plaudits. :D

Thanks guys!

Now that's innovative. =D Really liking that.

The 4-bar works when inverted? That's really cool!

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed something like that could be done. Nifty!

Thanks for the tip Alex, but the scoop already is wider than my front corners, and I don't want too unwieldy a contraption on my lifter. And on Zombie Killer said setup directly protects the wheels, something I neednt worry about.

STATS!
May as well post my ideas on stats here since it turns out these topics attract responses galore.
Weapon: 5
Armour: 7 (+1 for the scoop)
Speed: 8
Traction: 7
Torque: 3

Is what I was thinking. Lots of lifters can get away with an extremely low weapon stat, but that's because they can act as effective rambots too. Latvian Gambit only cares about lifting, and 5 is an ideal number considering them nifty weapon armour bonuses. The rest of the stats try to find a nice balance between drive and armour, the scoop getting itself a very nice armour of 10.

That last one is Latvian Gambit celebrating one of its many victories. The tracks actually still touch the floor so it can drive around looking like a plonker!

Damn your mechanical engineering genius mind! :v: I could never make something like that...

*envy*

Absolutely incredble. Well done.
