But partly to gain advice, ideas, pointers, things of a similar nature. Starting off with a potential Showbot for Badnik's rumble tourney. Liked the idea of Count Bleck, so I took the base and combined it with a gymnastics bot called Io that I saw on Techno Games a couple of times. Spinning blade weapon, and a bobble-type head that can lean out of the way of attacks. Made in around an hour or so.

I don't know if you need much advice really (unless 'come to FRA fanfic, you'll love it there!' counts as advice ;P) as your pictures seem quite awesome to me, certainly far in advance of anything I could do.

(looking at all this makes me want to do my own CAD showcase thing...)

Very nice attempt, but the supports jut out further than the rollers.

It's still good, just looking at it from a technical point of view. :D

That's cool. =) I'll try making a refinement from scratch, now I know vaguely what the finished product looks like.

EDIT: Here we go. Better than the first version, I reckon. I'm surprised how round it is from the side.

If he's this good now, imagine in a couple years... He could become better then you, John! And that's saying something...

Got bored, and started messing around in the last week and a bit. Eventually ended up with a kinda redesigned Gauntlet from Robot Wars, only without the need for House Robots. Large image, so I put a link to it instead of posting it here.

Consider this an epic slice of win, NFX. It's better than anything I can do at the moment.

NFX, I'm gonna say that right now, you are one of the best CADers that are on here.

Wow, I'm glad you guys like it. =D The seesaw thing did have a checkplate effect on it, but it was laggy as hell.

Now if only I could learn how to put textures on stuff.
