So, I know you guys aren't big on anything that doesn't have a distortion pedal or is 98% electronophonic. Nonetheless, I hope you guys will keep an open mind for this one, especially given the artist. I heard this for the first time this past week, and I was blown away. Love the gospel influence on this one.

Not being even a dilettante of metal, though I do enjoy it, I just thought this was a pretty generic sound. Still, not bad. 6/10.

Since moving to Bellingham, I get reception for CBC2 and am enjoying a lot of the adult-alternative out of Canada. First one I found that I loved.

A little underwhelmed. They've got a sound that kind of a cross between '60s beach music and '70s soul, like solo Teddy Pendergrass or something. All the same, wasn't vibing on it too much. 5/10

Still, I do think it works well for Captain NRK-- like, you've got the obvious subject matter, but then there's also the marching beat to it that's quite reminiscent of its walking mechanism and the power behind the spinner.

The one there's a little bit slower than I expected, but it's certainly quite interesting. 7/10 from me, but I might give Mastodon a bit more of a look in the future.
