See, I don't like hip-hop, but by no means is the Amen Break at fault. Having my interest sparked I naturally looked around a bit for 1 or 2 songs using this break, and after a quick search found nothing I really liked. One mediocre Oasis song and one very poor David Bowie song. I must admit that the Powerpuff Girls theme was a nice find :P.

Anyway, the break itself is strong, very much so, so what can I say? 8/10

Good for the first two and a half minutes, after that it began to grate a bit to be honest and neither metal nor movie soundtracks are my cup of tea especially. 4.5/10

Not too bad, but I really didn't notice the vocals in that song at all. It might as well have been an instrumental. Still I'll say 6/10.

This song has been stuck in my head for the last two weeks or so thanks to Fallout 3.

Not too bad, I guess. I'm not one for that particular style of music. Plus it seemed a little bit of a simple progression more than anything. Few twists, but still kinda same-y. I'll give it a 4.5/10.

I actually appreciate the musical complexity and extreme artistic value to what the Weird one does. Truly an underappreciated talent. Admittedly, I didn't get this song. Is it a parody of a particular song or what? Anyway, 7/10 nonetheless.

Strong song, within its genre, sadly its not my genre, but it deserves a solid 7/10 nonetheless, I wonder how many people know whose song this was originally, I know I didnt.

I do believe myself and Marti have discussed this before ;P it's a great Sixties pastiche and in some ways a better song than some of those it's based on, the genre isn't something I'm massively fond of but it does stick in your head and isn't at all bad, so...7/10
