Once, a long long time ago, there was Chaos. Then there was the Four.
From beyond the Chaos, they arrived. They sought out from among the void worlds to create.
There was, after endless eons of emptiness, peace.
But not for long.
After the initial creation, the Four disagreed with each other on how to best mold the world to their whims. Strenuously.
So the Four compromised. Four worlds, each controlled by one of the Four and left to their own devices. No more arguing, no more discord. Just harmony.
And the Four said, "Let there be light!"
And there was light.

I take a look around and realize that this is not where I was walking a moment ago, nor were these the people I had been walking with.
"Uh... yeah, I'm a bit confused as well. Anyone know where we are?"

Go to the city with the blinking lights... There is more mysterious exposition there...
Side note, you're in E2. That's the 'dragons + spaceships' thing.
