The beast gets knocked down, but slowly gets back up. A bit angrier, it raises its hand-spikes, presumably to impale PallaPalla.

Salvador gets behind his steering wheel and charges at the beast.

The creature calmly yet viciously slices a deck of the ship in two as it crashes into the creature. It picks up Salvador by the throat, its spikes turning into claws, before throwing him back. The wreck of the ship lies behind him

The being, after being hit by Maeryn's rifle, becomes more aggressive. It picks up PallaPalla by its claw, threatening to crush her throat.

Enraged, Maeryn throws her rifle to one side, gets a running start, and full-body tackles the beast, punching it in the face as she does so

I could run with him... no, that's not who I am. I wanted to use my skills to help people. Maeryn and PallaPalla need my help right now. I stay and fight.
I draw my glass from my jacket, preparing to launch it at the foul beast. Seeing Maeryn charge in, I decide to wait until she's out of the line of fire to do so.

The being deflects Maeryn easily. It hisses, "Begooooone," before dissipating into smoke.

That was unexpected.
I take a moment to breathe and collect my wits before putting the glass away.
"Okay, so now who's ready to head toward the city? I think it would be best for all of us if we got away from here before more of those... things... show up."

PallaPalla is in utter, terrified shock. She trembles, makes loud whining noises, and refuses to move.

...well, of course, until Chris' words finally penetrate her thick head.

"O-okay!!" she yelps. She still doesn't know what the fuck just happened, but feels it would be a good idea to stay within close proximity to the others.

(for the record, TNS, I'm unavailable 4pm-midnight EST on weekdays unless specified, as those are my work hours)

Salvador, brought to tears by the damage of his ship, sees his fellow party members head to the city. He walks back to his ship, to come face to face with the damage that was done, and he tests, if it is still able... TO FLY!

The ship's deck is smashed, and a large gash runs through it. However, the engine and balloonif there's a balloon, I forget still remain, intact. It could theoretically fly, albeit without the bottom deck.

PallaPalla looks back, seeing Salvador brought to tears by the damage done to his ship. Suddenly, she feels sorry for him... sorry enough to... !

"I wanna help!"

She runs back to the ship man.

"Are... are you able to fix it? Because I can try helping too! Look!"

PallaPalla uses the magic of her Amazon Stone and tries to fill in the damage done to the ship with solid, glittery ice... ice that sparkles!

I stop and watch as PallaPalla begins filling in the gaps in the ship with ice.
Ice magic? Maybe she could teach me how this magic stuff works so I can make those fire gloves I wanted.
I glance down at my hands.
Glass isn't really that bad... just not what I wanted.
