Speed: 4Speed: 4
Traction: 2Traction: 2
Torque: 1Torque: 1
Weapon: 16Weapon: 13
Armour: 7Armour: 10 (+1 wedge)
Bar config, starting blade down.

Both bots have only 11 weapon armour, which means HYB significantly trumps OverCleaver weapon to weapon. Even then, this thing will just tear OverCleaver a new asshole on a hit anywhere (5 damage minimum), and it would appear I've the range advantage. Spin up at the start, before heading out into the main area of the 'shed. Play somewhat defensive when the two bots are starting to get close, and exploit our reach advantage to hit them before they hit us. Keep our blade facing them constantly, especially when it's spinning. Aim to strike any corners or bumps in their chassis we can find, see if we can tear off the wedge, if not go clean through it.

Keep the blade spinning as much as we can. If it's stopped for some reason, back off from OverCleaver, keeping the blade end pointed at them, spinning up as we go back. Once we're back up to murder speed, we can approach again. Try to stay away from the copious amounts of hazards in the ring, instead just keeping it mano a mano. Watch their movements, and try to spot any jank before they attempt it. We can easily turn to strike them if they somehow get close enough to try to hit our chassis.

Overall, keep them facing the blade, hit strong, avoid hazards.

Best of luck to the opposition.

After our previous defeat to Badnik's bot, we are now facing a spinner since to us. An undercutter with long range and unique shape. They are going with the bar configuration now. Also, we have to notice how their bar is more durable than ours with it's length in relation to their wheelbase. They also seem to have better reach and weapon power, less armor, and same drive. On the other hand, however, both bots will deal the same damage when they hit each other.

For this battle, we will try to target one side of their drive, will trying to take as less damage and impact from their weapon as possible. We are worried that the first hit on our wedge or wedgelets will be enough to bend it useless, or worse, into the path of our weapon, rendering it useless. We are also worried of the possibility that our opponent's bar will deflect into our bar, potentially flipping us over to take more damage, or if they are merciful enough to not attack, the possibility of the bar not being able to self right our bot like last fight. Another potential problem is taking out the exposed weapon chain on our bot, disabling our weapon.

To deal with it, we will try to make their bar hit the left or right part of our wedge, rather than the central part. We will also try to drive our bot carefully so they won't hit a wheel on our bot during that process. This will also double as our defense against them. Once we got to their unprotected side, we will try to be careful on getting our bar to the range where it can hit both wheels on one side at the same time, while not getting a part of our bot hit by their bar.

As for the hazards, avoid them all, while hoping that a hit will throw our opponent against one of the hazards. If our weapon is disabled though, try to carefully drive around them and push them into a hazard or the wall whenever we get the opportunity

Good luck Trihunter
