Re: ICEcrown Week 4: Death's Head Sarsaparilla vs. Shellshock
For every hit we make to each other, DHS will self damage himself by 4 while I wont self damage but his weapon will damage me by 7 however I will damage him by 8 everywhere except his teeth. So basically I'm going to go flat out and hope for the best. Its going to be one big hit and one of us will b...

Re: ROBOT2 HW Bronze Match - Vertigo 3 v Magnolia Grande
I'm slightly faster and my angled armour will help slightly against his twin spinners. It's weapons are also petrol powered so there's a chance of disabling them if I can cut the fuel lines or stop it somehow. At the start, run straight towards them without hesitance. Spin up the blade while going o...

Re: ROBOT2 FWs Shitbot Showdown: Runaway Rabbit vs Bruxish
I'm faster with a more powerful flipper and the better wedge thanks to the tongue and the fins. Armour doesn't matter in this fight and my traction is so bad that I'm just going to go all out driving it. At the start, go full speed straight into it, get under it and flip just before we reach a wall....

Re: ICECrown Week 3: Labrys vs. Shellshock
15 weapon v 7 armour. Her wedges are also quite steep so my teeth will have bite more than a shallower wedge. I also think my lowest teeth can hit her hinged wedges. At the start, move away and spin up to full speed. Once up to full speed, go straight in for the attack. Aim for the front initially a...

Re: ICECrown Week 2: Steelhead vs Shellshock
Spin up as quickly as possible, move away until I'm up to full speed then attack aiming for his sides and wheels. Move in and out of attacks and stay full throttle for the whole fight to reduce spin up time. If i get flipped by his arms, my chimney will self right me and I'll be okay if the shell co...

Re: ROBOT2 HW SFs: Coronal Mass Ejection vs. Vertigo
This is going to come down to who has the best wedge, two powered forks v a hinged spatula. An advantage I have with him going for the spatula is that if he gets the spatula between my forks and tries to flip, his spatula will hit my blade as there is no base under my spinner. I also think if his sp...

Re: ICECrown Week 1: Chernabog vs. Shellshock
My weapon is +3 on his best armour and my conical shape means he will have a hard time trying to get purchase on my shell. He does have the faster drivetrain but my mecanums mean I have more manoeuvrability. At the start, spin up to full speed and move away until I'm up to full speed. Then go in and...

Shaba, Think you have a good Tombclone?? Bet you can't beat Titan. DEATH METAL V TITAN SHW - Titan - A 4WD Brick with mecanum drive so it can keep its pneumatic scoop can always facing the enemy. The pneumatic scoop is a low pressure system for a more flips during a fight over potential OOTAs. The s...

Shellshock - A deadly shell spinner powered by a 1.8l 2-rotor wankel engine, estimated to produce 108bhp and a lot of noise. Drive is provided by 4 A28 motors powering a mecanum wheel each, allowing it to move in all directions. The shell has 4 teeth and is made of 15mm titanium. There is also a se...

Re: Carbon Z vs Vertigo
We've faced each other before and I lost so time to change it up. Pre-match, start with the lifter fully up as if it had just self-righted me and with my rear facing him. Then spin the bar the wrong* way (*if the lifter was in its normal position the bar would be hitting downwards like an axe but be...

i really like Splashdown and I'm interested to see how it does in ROBOT2. I used a similar hinge system in LowRider but that is a rammer. Also +1 for Sketchfab, more people should use it.

RoBattle LW Week 6 Wetropolis megathread
I've got a good bit of ground clearance so I should be fine in the blue and possibly green areas. Start in the bottom left entrance and stick close to the right hand wall then go towards the nearest bollard. Then go to the bollard north of it, then the final bollard avoiding the yellow and red zones...
